The Aenean course originated in China. It is a tropical plant that is hardy in USDA zones 9 through 11. If you live in zones below 9, Chinese jasmine is grown as a houseplant.
In the late fall of the first months of winter, the Chinese Aeneas buds begin to bloom. When February comes, this plant will be part of the show. Place this in a room with star flowers and with five petals emit a scent that perfumes the whole area. . If you allow Chinese Jasmine to grow naturally, it can reach a height of 10 feet.
Growing jasmine in cups
Jasmine can be grown in pots filled with well-drained soil. You can buy soil at any garden supply store, or you can mix your own. A general guide to mixing your own is equal amounts of compost, peat moss and perlite. When grow this plant, keep the soil on the moist side, but not soaking wet. This will rot the roots of the plant.
When the Chinese jasmine becomes root-bound, I store it in a pot that is one to two sizes larger. Repot two to three years.
Place the pot in a tray filled with pebbles or stones. Add the water to the tray, so it is under the top of the counter. Chinese jasmine prefers to grow in a higher humidity environment. Likewise, the leaves must be raked every day.
Provide visibility
Place the pot in a location that provides bright filtered light. When summer comes, take Chinese jasmine to grow outside. Choose a sunny place, but protect it from the wind.
Tempered Place
When you take indoor plants in the fall, put them in a cold room for 6 weeks. Because the Chinese have grown bronzes as houseplants, they keep the room where they grow at temperatures of 40 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit. The cool temperature will help the flower buds to form. After six weeks have passed, move your plant to a warm area or turn the heat on in the room. Temperatures should remain around 60 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
Exputation of the Chinese Aeneas
You don’t need to prune your plant, but you can help it grow in the summer months. Pruning is done in the spring to early summer months. You will think that only the stems are flowering. You don’t need to go crazy with the pruning, simply press the tips of the stems.
Fertilizing the Chinese Aeneas
Chinese jasmine should be fed once a month while it is actively growing. The right fertilizer for your plants is high in phosphorus and low in nitrogen. Do not fertilize in spring after flowers are overgrown. Unlike most plants, the months of spring and summer are when the Chinese jasmine is dormant or in dormancy.
Pests
Check the plant for spider mites and scale. If you see spider mites, spray the leaves with insecticidal soap. If scale is a problem, wipe them with a cotton ball soaked in rubbing. Yellow jasmine leaves indicate iron chlorosis in your Chinese. This is corrected by adding chelated iron to your compost water. Receta and chelata use iron as a label direct.
