Gluten
A scissor.

directions:

1. First you need two to three Styrofoam balls. You can find them in craft stores and Joann Fabric. You want it to be small enough to hold a toothpick. If you use different sizes, be sure to put the largest size at the bottom and the smallest size at the top.

2. Carefully stick one of the toothpick ends into the Styrofoam ball. It may be easier to start at the bottom of the pile, but this depends on your preference.

3. Put the other end carefully into the ball of Styrofoam, which you want on top or under the ball, as soon as it is stuck to the toothpick. If needed, you can use more than one toothpick to connect the two Styrofoam balls.

4. Repeat steps two and three if you are using a third Styrofoam ball. If you start from the bottom, it should be the third ball.

5. This step is optional, but if there is any part of the toothpick sticking to the top, add another ball of Styrofoam. If you can’t add another Styrofoam ball, note the part that sticks out, take the snowman apart, and cut off the end that sticks out. Then you can stick toothpicks through the holes in the Styrofoam balls.

You don’t want someone to stick the pointy end of the toothpick out. Plus the snowman will look better without any toothpicks sticking to the top.

6. Use colored markers to carefully draw a face on the snowman’s head. You can draw the face before putting the snowman together if you want. Use the title also to draw the balls on the body of the snowman. Make sure the ink is dry so it doesn’t smudge.

7. Draw and cut out the snowman hat from construction paper or felt. It might be easier to use construction paper. If the paper is darker, it is difficult to see the slanted line. But you can still get out of it.

8. Carefully glue the bottom of the hat to the top of the snowman’s forehead. This way, when the snowman is viewed from the front, he is wearing a hat.

If you can make a 3D hat or buy a small hat that will fit your snowman, carefully glue it to the top of his head. If it fits over his head, you can carefully put it on without gluing.

Allow the glue to dry completely at any time it is to be used.

9. If you want to give your snowman a scarf, there are two ways to do this;

A. Cut the strip from the filter and carefully wrap it around the snowman’s neck. Be careful not to wrap too tight or hard. Making a Styrofoam ball break the snowman. Add a little glue to hold the scarf in place. Let the glue be completely dry

B. Carefully draw and color the scarf. The ink must be dry so that it does not smear.

10. If you want to give your arms, you can stick one toothpaste on each side of the Styrofoam snowman.

You can cut off the protruding tips if you don’t want the sharp edges of the toothpick exposed. You don’t need to cut off the tips of the tips placed in the Styrofoam.
