Want to determine the sex of your child without having to have a doctor help with the conception process? Well there are some things that couples can do that can help them to select the gender of their child right there in their own home. That’s right you really don’t have to go to a clinic that does gender selection. Nature has actually made it possible for couples select the gender of their child. Now this is provided that you want to take the time to do what is necessary to get the gender you want.
First off a woman needs to be in tune with her cycle. This is key in selecting the gender of your child. Your cycle will be what helps to determine the gender you will conceive. Once you know what your cycle is like you will then need to pinpoint as closely as you can as to when you ovulate during your cycle. Yep when does that little egg drop and become available for fertilization. So once you have all that down and you have tracked your cycle for a few months so that you know the pattern things will play out during your cycle, you are ready to try and conceive that baby.
Now for a look at the man’s part in all of this. A man’s sperm can live for up to 72 hours after ejaculation inside of the woman. So anytime during the 72 hour range you can become pregnant. This is also keep to how you are going to become pregnant with the gender you want.
Ok so we know what the key parts of each player in this is. Now how does all this help you to get the girl or boy you are wanting? Well quite easily actually. If you are wanting a boy you will want to sex about 68 to 70 hours before your egg becomes available for fertilization. If you are wanting to have a girl you are going to want to have sex about the time you ovulate.
The reason behind all of this is that the female sperm swim faster than the male sperm. So if you have sex close to ovulation than the female sperm will reach the egg before the male sperm does. This increases the chances of having a baby girl. To have a boy you have sex prior to ovulation because by this point most of the female sperm has died off leaving more of the male sperm. The male sperm swimming slower are now reach the just dropped egg.
The down side of this is that you have to time when you and your partner have sex. Sex is no longer going to be allowed to happen just when ever the mood strikes. Being controlled by a calendar, a cycle and the speed at which sperm swim is not for everyone. So both partners have to be willing to adhere to how nature works for them to be able to select the gender of their child.
