How to Start Your Own Animal Rescue

Starting animal rescue is by no means cheap or easy, it requires a strong will, determination, dedication, a business of the brain, or a business of thought, vision, and more than anything to do something worthwhile and work.

So how do you get around I hear you say… Well here are a few ideas, some guidance and some things to think about on how you can get started, setup and running to save your pet. The suggestions below are in no way intended to put you off, but to get you thinking animal rescue right to me

1. Decide where you are going to rescue the animal, for example you will start from your back garden, you will need premises.

2. Decide how much funding you need, and how you will fund it, for example local businesses to adopt your animal, or will you fund the entire project yourself?

3. Talk to your local council, government and others, check what are the rules and regulations in place to open and run to save your animal, check what you need to have in place, and what you will have in circles.

4. By what care you use, I mean, what volunteers you use, the amount of volunteers, what vets you use, and how much they consist of. Are there any local vets you can use?

V. Where do you source your products and supplies, how much do these products and supplies cost you, when do you need to restock and where will you fund and finance the purchase of these items?

6. Decide what animals you will care for and accept. In all animals you will receive either certain types or types of animals.

7. What type of policy do you offer, for example a no kill policy, a real homing policy, any animal policy we take.

8. Get advice and guidance anywhere and everywhere you can. Run each animal rescuer, see what you can learn and gain from them, experience what barriers and obstacles you face, and most importantly be prepared. Getting the animal started and running will not be easy at all and there will always be someone standing in the way of what you want to do.

9. Research and find out what insurances you need and how much they will cost you and remember to include them in your business plan< /a>.

10. Deliver a business plan and marketing plan, as bad as this sounds its almost essential these days. Use the business guide how to run and fun animal rescue, use the marketing plan to show sponsors, guests, volunteers and the general public just what you are doing and how / what will benefit them.
