Follow the instructions below to install the Viper Guestbook.
Login to the c-panel of the website you want to install Viper Guestbook. Once you’re started, look for the link that says Fantastico. Click on that page. The next page will have a lot of links on the left side. Scroll down the book page until you find the Viper Guestbook and click on that page. Now you will see a short description of the returner. The next page is very important. This is where you want to put the repository, your password, and the language you prefer. I walk you through each step of the page.
Installation Location
Install on Domain – Select the domain where you want to install the Viper Guestbook. You will have more than one option if you have sub-domains on this server.
Install Directory – More than likely you don’t want to install a guest on the front page. So type a name for the host so you can put it in a sub-directory. That means it will create a new page for the host. You can use the name hospital as an example. So to access the updates, you’ll want to figure it out at http://www.yourdomain.com/guestbook. This is an example. You can say whatever you want.
Admin Access Data
Password – Type in the password you would like to use when you access the admin panel.
Base configuration
Admin Email – Type in your email address in this field.
Preferred Language – Scroll through the box and select which language you prefer to use.
Now click Install Viper Guestbook.
The next page will tell you that you have chosen to restore the directory from the so and so domain and to install it on so and so. And then the URL will give you access to the reclining. Click Finish Installation.
The next page will tell you that the Viper Guestbook has been successfully installed. This page will give you your password, admin url and URL to access my recovery. Print this page or keep it in your records. You can also choose to have this information emailed to you. Simply type your email address in the field and click the send email button.
Now you are ready to configure the host on your website to suit your taste.
