Introduction to The Stephanie Plum Books by Janet Evanovich

Stephanie Plum wrote about the mysteries of the Acta Apostolic Sedis Evanovich and there are thirteen books in the series so far.

The books are fun and a little silly, but they are so utterly delightful and the characters so likable that it is a sheer joy to sit down and read.

Each book has everything needed for a good story – quirky characters [Lula, Vinnie, Connie, Stephanie herself], crazy family members< /a > [Grandma Mazur!], six hunky men [Ranger, Morelli], unconventional job [bounty hunter], care [hamster and Bob the dog], mystery and adventure.

Stephanie Plum is a bounty hunter for Cousin Vinnie’s bond company. And Stephanie has no formal training to be a bounty hunter. In fact, Stephanie has only three industries as a bounty hunter. She sniffs and is persistent and happy. Otherwise, Stephanie gets a lot of work and often gets her friend Lula in trouble with her. The two of them together are almost as bad as comedy teams like Laurel and Hardy or Abbott and Solemn. It’s almost like a Three Stooges episode in humor, but even funnier.

The books have exciting things like explosions and occasional shootings. Sometimes someone dies and bad things happen but that is not the main focus of the stories.

Basically Stephanie’s car explodes in almost every book and sometimes her car explodes more than once in a book. Once a garbage truck was also blown up alive. It flew several feet into the air, then fell sideways on top of Rula’s new landmark, crushing it both flat and under ash! One car that never seems to fade is the one Stephanie borrowed from her family, a 1953 powder blue Buick.

Stephanie also has some romance in her life. He cares about two men, Joe Morelli and Ranger. Morelli is a police detective and bounty hunting Ranger named Stephanie
Stephanie also has a family. goes home for family dinners all the time and very funny things can happen. Grandma Mazur lives with Stephanie’s parents and is a bit of a curmudgeon. Grandma Mazur wants to visit a funeral-home when someone has died whether she knew them or not, and especially she wants to see the body. Note that in several boxes to lift the appearance of the lid. He also once took pictures of the deceased [standing on a chair] with a ready camera, after putting out a fire everyone panicked from the funeral home while a man stood watching over her.

If you want serious mysteries or crime, Stephanie Plum is not for you. This series is meant for fun entertainment and pure fun. I love the whole series and have read them all over and over again and I can’t say enough how much fun they are to read.
