A Miley Cyrus video hit the net last week reported on sites like Pop Crunch. It was a look that put to rest the doubt that Miley Cyrus is no longer Anna Montana.
Although sage is legal in most states, it is a hallucinogenic herb that causes increased anxiety, and is not a medication intended for minors. Sage “produces intense but brief” effects, including distortions, hallucinations, intense dissociation and disconnection from reality, physical or visual impairment , disorientation and dizziness. a driver who just wants to stay safe.
Many parents want to ignore or deny that their child has a problem with substance abuse. Lindsay Lohan’s mother, Dina Lohan, comes to mind. But Billy Ray Cyrus took an honest approach about his heart. He recently wrote on Twitter after the infamous video, “Sorry guys. I didn’t know. That’s the first time I saw it. I’m so sad. It’s way beyond my control.” It’s not an easy time for Cyrus’ family as Billy Ray and his wife Tish are going through a divorce. We can only imagine how difficult the divorce must be for Miley as well.
The famous Dr. Drew is concerned about young singers, as well. “Teens don’t get depressed the way adults do. They don’t get sad and cry and withdraw. They often act out and become more angry, they do drugs and … they work in trouble and it seems to work;” Dr. Drew said. “This is the trigger out of the bag. This is a child who is struggling and who is struggling, and this is his way of trying to control him. Get professional help.”
In the meantime, Cyrus can hold on to her duties, show up on time, and support her fans. Was Miley Cyrus in the sage video just to have fun, and so it is? She may be six times in her costume, but she’s not Lindsay Lohan. Not yet.
However, even some supporters of legalizing marijuana consider it a sage plant that should not be confused with a weed. The author of Free Leaf wrote on the Free Leaf Facebook page, “..Cannabis is a much safer substance. Its prohibition tempts legal people and sometimes makes it difficult like sage and k2. Cannabis shows no such negative effect.”
