Is Working in Retail Close to Slavery?

Once I thought maybe I was alone in this idea. It has been proven wrong time and time again.

Many people do not think about what follows in the retail store behind the scenes, only coming to choose the item they want to buy. Unfortunately, what people don’t realize is that those who work in retail are stressed, tired, and generally not happy there. Let’s face it, we’ve had all our issues with the service from the store, and the people aren’t helpful or friendly in any way. Have you thought why? Some think that because they are miserable, they do not think positively of themselves. You honestly couldn’t hit the mark any closer.

In fact, even if it is not a big concern, it is important to worry about the pain. The idea that life is in store as Walvirides traders is ridiculous at best. The majority of retail businesses focus only on pleasing the customer, forgetting about the most essential ingredient. Ministers

The great majority of men and women who work in the management of funerals, practice the most prodigious and simply public abuse. They also work beyond the recommended work/life balance, putting in at least 50-70 hours a week. Another big problem is that companies are cutting employees and thus sending management into “retail hell” only having enough hours to run the store with only one manager and one employee for the duration of the time the store is open.

It is a misconception that large retail chains tend to have huge numbers of people working on their time. They only want to “look” this way. In fact, they do the same 4-5 different positions in the store at the time they are there. When approaching them asking for help, they simply don’t have time to walk around with you and help you pick out the items you need.

It’s not that the retail workers don’t want to help you, it’s about working so many hours and so many days in a row, before finally the day comes that pushes someone to not care anymore. Most sellers, if they’re honest with themselves, couldn’t care less if yours is in stock or not. Less people, less labor, less entrepreneurs.

From a business point of view, it’s bad, it means a loss of profit, and less people coming to buy the stuff they sell. Finally, the cause of the company to dissolve, and then the workers are the workers. Does it make any difference? Of course not, because those same people can jump to another retail board, since the majority of salespeople don’t want you to have a degree, or even work experience. There is no challenge, no incentive to stay and be loyal to a company that only benefits from profits, and thus seeks to cut “corners”. To me it’s like burning both ends of the candle.

Today’s market in retail is terrible. The industry reports that workers are hard to find. So please, if you only offer minimum wages, long hours and a terrible work environment. The people who run these stores don’t have the slightest stake in what makes them profitable. It’s more than a planogram, it’s more than enough merchandise at a great price. People will go where the prices are low, yes, but they will also go where, even if they have an extra dollar, because of the excellent customer service.

My reason for retail industry is just this.
1. Stop hiring people who are uneducated, criminal, and have little work ethic or experience.
2. Make sure you have enough people (management and employees) in your stores to help customers. They don’t work on the shelves, or other nonsense that can be done before or after hours. Customers don’t want to have to move businesses around just to get to the items they need.
3. Abide by Employment Laws, and regulations by the federal government, and local governments, so that workers are not worked to death. (Not only the hours, but also the people’s salary.)
4. Look for linen pants, and the rest that work in your stores nightmare, and to the point of health. Just make your partners happy.
5. Allow more time management, so that they have time with their families, and the freedom to enjoy other interests.
6. Members are allowed to take time off on holidays, and hire workers to fill the time gaps.
7. The customer isn’t always right, especially if they’ve had a bad day and decided to argue with their partner instead of hitting the item. This is simply abuse, and in a normal setting, people would not use the fact that retail companies allow this to happen on a daily basis.
8. Are returns necessary? Unless the product is faulty or the buyer is injured, if the person does not want it, they do not have to buy it in the first place. This also greatly reduces theft, when some people steal the shelves and want to find the income.

For retail customers, I have something to say to you.
1. Don’t put things on the SHELF and throw them away because you changed your mind, replace them!
2. Don’t wait for the store to turn back because you want to buy an item that is damaged and you want a discount. They disagree, the company pays more to the seller than it allows to buy.
3. Don’t wait for the store to babysit your kids while you run through the aisles. Kids tend to throw things around and scream their little heads off.
4. If you want a good customer-service, try to send this article, tell the team to get more people . When you win more of us.
5. When we ask you for your phone number or code, that’s what we need or by writing your face, so you don’t get the “fear of identity theft” wrath on us.
6. When you decide something, please stick to it, or come back when you are sure of what you want.
7. A hug is not really a good way to show your appreciation for a good job, writing a letter or calling a corporate. It’s a gift!
8. When he complains about something, he should remember the people working in the store, not the policies, the extension of the store, or what they carry. Take a corporate job again.

Finally, for those who think of making a fake return, and stealing from stores is fun, and easy behavior to support yourself, or kids, maybe fill out an application, you are most likely to be hired.
