ISP Review – Socket Internet

Socket Internet was co-founded in 1994 by George Pfenenger and John Dupuy. Socket Internet is now the largest local Internet provider in Missouri and has experienced rapid growth in Missouri and the rest of the country.

For the past three years, Internet Explorer has been named one of the top 500 fastest-growing private companies in America by Inc. magazine. In 2004, Intel Telecom, an affiliate of Intel Internet, entered the Missouri local & long distance telephone industry for business. Business owners can now choose to receive their phone service and Internet service from one local company.

The mission of the Internet tent is to select smaller market businesses on local telephone providers that were previously only available in larger markets. The focus is to provide the highest quality customer service and technical knowledge with a selection of telecommunication services. To this end, Socket has invested in building state-of-the-art networks using the latest and best technology.

The internet network is based in Missouri, but provides service nation-wide. Here is what my experience was with them.

Billing ~
He was right. No tricks, no worms, no traps. Shops have the convenience of auto-drafting or mailed out tickets if they prefer. Send monthly reminders via email shortly before your due date (in case you forget you’re on auto-draft and need a last-minute reminder).

Prices ~
Active and stable. I have been with Socket for almost 4 years and have never had a price increase, although they continue to add new services, making it more and more expensive.

Services ~
I only use the clock, as that is what I know best. The store also offers higher speed connections in most areas. Available in many locales in all major cities and in an unusual number of small communities, I can go freely almost all the time. The booth also has a toll-free dial in number for countries, for those times when I go too far. The low per-minute charge for the toll-free service makes it a reasonable alternative for time travelers.

Accelerator ~
For these users on the clock service, Socket provides a service accelerator. Honestly, I don’t understand how he does it. A 3-month half-price no-strings-attached store has recently been offered, though I’ve experienced it that way. Pages load significantly faster, and it’s done with an email filter that keeps my inbox soooo much cleaner!

Customer Service ~
Really good customer service is rare these days, but Socket has it. On the very few occasions I need to call for help from customer service, I have met. knowledgeable, easy to work with staff who addressed my questions promptly and thoroughly.

Tech Support ~
These guys are awesome!! I cannot give high enough praise to the tech line people at Socket Answering. I think he knows everything. Despite the rare collection systems I called for help, they always knew exactly what I needed. make sure they are connected and stay in possession.

Telephone number ~
Even the best customer service and technical support won’t do you any good if it’s too hard to remember. All of Socket’s departments can be reached through the same easy-to-remember toll-free number, 1-800-SOCKET3.

Free month ~
For years, Socket offered the first month free. Try this great ISP risk free!
