Joy Bauer’s Joy Fit Club

There’s a new diet and fitness program in town. Joy Bauer, nutritionist and best-selling fitness and nutrition author, can be seen in numerous venues and on many talk shows touting the Joy Fit Club. You can see her regularly on the Today Show.

For those of you who just haven’t been able to keep off those pounds, the Joy Fit Club might just be for you. Old fashioned diet and exercise are the focus here. No surgical assistance.

A combination of rules to go by, menu plans to guide you and exercising will have you on your way to your goal weight. Eat better, move more.

The rules are simple. Think positive about your weight loss, know that you can do it. Toss out all the foods in your home that you shouldn’t be eating, if it’s not there, then you can’t consume it. Eat. Don’t cut out meals, you need a well balanced diet consisting of three meals and a snack. Exercise thirty minutes a day. Do anything, just exercise.

The Joy Fit Club offers a menu plan consisting of sample menus that contain the recommended calorie intake needed. The meals provide for the right combination of carbs, proteins, fat and calories for optimal hunger control.

Meal plans are only recommendations, you can alter for your own needs. And in keeping with the old school approach, lots of water intake is recommended for your beverages.

There are weight loss tools to help you evaluate your current situation and aid you in your goal of weight loss. Tools like calculating your body mass index (BMI), calculating your calorie intake and a chart explaining what a serving consists of for the food groups.
