If you live in the Auburn-Opelika area and you’re looking for a consignment sale, Kids Clothes Connection is the sale for you! This biannual consignment sale occurs in the late summer and late winter of each year just in time for back to school and spring clothing shopping. If you are interested in selling your children’s gently used clothing, toys, furniture, baby equipment and books for more than you would get for these items at a yard sale, then this is the place to do that. If you want to purchase these same items then shopping the Kids Clothes Connection sale is the best place to do so.
Held in the “Old Lowes Building” on Pepperell Parkway in Opelika, Alabama, Kids Clothes Connection offers shoppers great deals on like-new items. Sellers receive 60 percent of the selling price of their items and the best thing is that the seller sets the price. As a seller you decide how much your item is worth. Brand name items tend to sell very quickly and for prices much higher than you’d be able to get at a yard sale.
There are simple rules to follow in order to have your items sold at Kids Clothes Connection. First, you must use the provided tag template printed on cardstock. Your clothing items must not have stains, rips or smell of smoke. Toys that require batteries must have working batteries in them to be sold. A good rule of thumb is to not sell anything that you wouldn’t want to buy. Don’t set your prices more than you would be willing pay.
For those who contribute items to the Kids Clothes Connection sale there is a preview sale that allows a first look and chance to buy items before the sale opens to the public. Kids Clothes Connection stays open to the public for one week, running from Saturday to Saturday. No large purses, diaper bags or shopping bags are allowed into the building as theft prevention.
