Not only does it have gambling for all types and financial levels, but it has five star restaurants and an eating establishment catering to any pocketbook or taste. It has all kinds and prices, from hundreds of top-killed stars to twenty or thirty dollars in the afternoon. It also has thrift stores ranging from Nieman-Marcus to J.C.Penny. We mean here in Vegas you can buy a Timex for twenty dollars – – or a Rolex for twenty thousand. Some hotels also have car dealerships such as Rolls and Bentleys at Caesars Palace or Ferraris and Lamborghinis at Wynn Las Vegas.

In addition, several natural places are visited such as Death Valley, Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire, and Hoover Dam. We have a boat on Lake Mead, places where you can split boats, river raft trips on the Colorado River! and more. And everyone knows about the North and South Rims of the Great Straits.

But here we dietrip to an area that visitors rarely go to – The West Rim of the Grand Canyon.

The road to this place is mostly paved. Now it is a distance of about eight miles long, that is, at least, rudimentary. The road is paved with little more than gravel and rocks. In good weather, it is accessible by no vehicle. Regularly passes the trucks and price bases. But when it rains or there is snow on the ground, it is necessary to have a team and knowledge. on account of rough places to traverse So before you go out, check the conditions for the type of vehicle you want to get.

To get there, take the Las Vegas exit on US 93/95. You’ll pass through Henderson and the Railroad Crossing, the site of the Railroad Crossing Hotel and Casino, the oldest continuously operating gaming establishment in Nevada.

There is an interesting story about this place. Back when the Rock Dam project began, contractors built the city for workers and their families. In conjunction with the federal government, the “dry” state meant that weak beer and wine could not be bought, no gambling was allowed, and “ladies of the evening” were forbidden to do their legal work here and there in the State of Nevada; trade The Railroad Pass Casino was located just outside the city limits of Boulder and provided all the necessary handicaps.

Following the signs, go through Boulder City and cross the Hoover Dam into the city of Arizona. At the top of the hill on the other side of the mother is a shop to look for which has the best view from the mother and the huge bypass tunnels. From there, many miles under and around the mass project to the bridge that will cross the Colorado over the canyon and over the embankment.

At milepost 46, you’ll see a souvenir shop on the west side of the road that faces the north stretch of Arizona Highway 25, the entrance to the West Rim, the town of Dolan Springs, and the road to Pearce Ferry. The longest distance is 25mphsit and you are advised to stick to them, the local County Sheriff likes. add boxes Dolan Springs has several places to buy gasoline, food and drink.

The next 20 miles are well paved and have a 45mph speed limit. Again, he sleeps through open spaces. This road is well patrolled by the local police and there is a speed limit to allow you not to run into the many cows that you will see roaming freely. It also allows you to not drive past the next turnoff leading to the West Rim. It is at the top of the hill on the right. It is a dirt road that the county claims is maintained with a grader road and runs through one of the largest “forests” of Joshua Trees in the west.

These tall plants (some growing over 30 feet) are not really trees. They are a member of the Yucca family which is the same genus as lilies. They also close the ugly ones. They are unique in that they live between 2,000 and 6,000 feet, with some species restricted to a narrow altitude band. They are also pollinated by the Yucca Tinea and are closely dependent on it.

There is no water once you exit Dolan Springs until you reach the buildings at the West Rim so make sure you bring a supply with you.

You are literally driving a wide dry stream, be careful and watch out for rocks and even cattle on the way. It’s one of the wildest places you’ll find anywhere in the western United States, and it’ll be something you’ll never forget.

The west rim is part of the Hualapai Indian Reservation and, once entered, the road is paved with dirt and becomes a pleasant place to drive. Even above 6000 feet they are flat and the Joshua Trees are replaced by pine and white pine. Pinned nuts were and still are a staple of the local population. It’s not far until you get to the airport and the Visitor Center.

The airport services include flight tours by King Air, among others, and also helicopter flights that have fallen into the canyon. The Hualapai are one of the tribes of the Ute Nation and their name means “people down to the river.” Provide a bus tour to Guano Point with many stops on the edge of the canyon. There is nothing fortified or fortified there, as it stands on the very edge of the precipice without any protection.

Guano Point is named after the large terminal tower that was built over it. At one time, many caves that were beyond the canyons, more than two miles away, contained huge amounts of dung, which was expensive dung. A rope stretched for two miles to carry workers in buckets from one side to the other. The operation was very productive until commercial artificial fertilizers came to market. The run is done, and the rope no longer spans the canyon. But it is a really spectacular aspect of bad breath naturally.

The Hualapai offer food to visitors and there are always residents selling native art. You can stay as long as you want and it runs back on the bus back and in line.

You can leave the area you arrived at or take another route to Peach Springs, a Hualapai tribal community. There are some caves nearby, and you can either go to Seligman, Arizona on the famous Route 66 or to Kingman. From Kingman, it’s not a long drive to Laughlin, Nevada with many hotel/casinos if you want to stay the night. etc. You can simply return via the road to Henderson and Las Vegas.

A pleasant trip and one you will never forget.
