The miracles of today’s education never cease to amaze me and this includes the developments of the age of contempt, such as those produced by Revlon and L’Oreal.
Two products, L’Oreal Visible Firming and Revlon Age Defying Makeup and Concealer Alliance with Botafirm®, are well-designed cosmetics for thirty to fifty plus women.
Not an avid fan of foundation makeup, because of the sensation, and I’m cosmetically lazy, at least my beauty confidence went up a notch or two when I have placed my face with either of these friendly formulas for ages.
Better yet, the Revlon Age Defying Foundation is for people like me who hate the feel of typical foundation makeup and yet it offers cosmetic forgiveness for recent years of sun-abused skin.
L’Oreal Visible Firming Lifting Makeup
This medium density liquid foundation is available in a transparent, convenient, well-designed glass pump container for easy application. L’Oreal makeup foundation containing both Pro-Retinol A and a proprietary compound called X-Tense.
Patent research was conducted on L’Oreal Visible Lift Firming and X-Tense makeup but failed to produce significant results. I suspect that X-Tense is transported by microspheres through L’Oreal’s existing patents. Regardless, X-Tense aims to firm the skin upon application. The results of Pro-Retinol A may take more time, about two to four weeks.
L’Oreal Visible Foundation light firming makeup doesn’t work miracles, and it’s not my favorite of the two, but it does a pretty nice job of reducing very fine lines. Otherwise, the overall coverage of this makeup is heavy enough to correct uneven skin and imperfections.
With an SPF of 17, L’Oreal Visible Firming Light Makeup lasts all day and if applied lightly blends well enough to stain coverage
One problem with this foundation makeup is that it does not look attractive unless applied somewhat carefully, especially around. waxes line the nostrils, such as the nose or mouth, and heavy application looks heavy.
L’Oreal Visible Firming Lift Firming makeup feels a little oily at first, but it soon fades and the skin feels moist.
It’s hard to judge if my skin is firmer from just makeup as I use other anti-aging skin care products. Also, I don’t wear foundations every day. Otherwise, my skin seems to be in better condition and I suspect something is due here.
While I prefer Revlon Age Defying makeup overall, in winter or with dry skin it has unevenness. , L’Oreal Visible Lifting Firming is more suitable for these occasions. This foundation makes it more gentle on dry patches compared to most other ingredients.
Note, another visible makeup L’Oreal Leva – with no firm action – is distinctly different than the formula of the foundation.
Revlon Age Defying Makeup & Concealer Alliance with Botafirm™
First experience is love with Revlon Age Defying makeup. Even though the compact formula looks like a makeup brush and applied with a sponge, Revlon Age Defying Foundation feels airy and soft to the touch and applies easily. A liquid formulation is also available.
My skin feels better with Revlon Age Defying Makeup on then it does after applying most moisturizers, it’s good.
Coverage for fine lines is minimal to fair, similar to L’Oreal Visible Firming Light, but overall Revlon Age Defying makeup provides average coverage, slightly less than L’Oreal. The overall look is so appealing.
With an SPF of 20, Revlon Age Defying Makeup is oil-free so it makes a good summer makeup base for either normal, combination or acne-prone skin.
But problems with dry patches, you will not be able to make it up. Liquid could be better but this formula makes very dry skin look. It’s quite a light, creamy and relaxing concealer. I generally prefer L’Oreal Visible L’Eye Concealer.
As with L’Oreal Visible Lift Firming, continued use can improve skin texture.
According to Revlon, Botafirm® is a “patented combination of hexapeptides and botanicals, clinical studies have shown a 47% reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in just 2 weeks” and over 75% of women found their skin firmer and more radiant after just one week.
Conclusion
Revlon Age Defying makeup gets an A-, better than any foundation I’ve used. With it, good skin, big and beautiful look good.
For women who want more moisture and heavier coverage, L’Oreal Visible Firming, Elevation can offer more appeal and gets a B- overall. Your results with these basic makeup products can be improved with regular use.
