Kids’ Fishing Tournament
bring the kids and enjoy the fishing tournament. This event is great for kids who love to fish. The tournament will take place at 8 am in Lincoln Park parish. There will be food and prizes.
Opening Ceremony
The opening ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. at Ruston’s historic Railroad Park. This ceremony will officially kick off the Louisiana Peach Festival.
Rodeo
He did not miss the porch. Gates will open at 6pm. There will be signs to mark the location.

Downtown Food Court
There is no shortage of great sellers. Everything from hotdogs to funnel cakes will be available. All food will be available. The food vendor is at 8 am and will open close to 10 pm.
Rodeo
The rodeo will take place again on Saturday. Doors open at 6 pm. If you miss Friday night fever, you can catch it on saturday night.
Louisiana Persian Arts Festivals & Show crafts
Arts & The art show will start at 8 am and end at 6 pm. Admission to the show is $5 per person. Come out and see all the great arts and crafts that will be available. There will be over 100 vendors of arts & Crafts Show.
Parade
The parade will begin at 9:00 am and will run through downtown Ruston. It wouldn’t be a festival without a parade.
Russ Town Band Concert
This event will begin at 2pm and will take place at the Dixie Theatre. Admission is free.
Antique Car Show and Corvette Show dates will be announced at a later date.

Gospel Music in the Park
Come out to some great gospel music. This event is at Railroad Park and begins at noon.
Peach-Eating Contest
The Peach Eating Contest will begin at Railroad Park at 4 p.m. This event is open to the public and free to participate. The purpose of this event is to see how many pounds of peaches you can eat in two minutes.
Pet Show
The Pet Show will begin at 4:30 in Railroad Park. It is a matter of a free state. Go out and take care of your business. You will be surprised.
