Mahwah movers work on Saturdays, this was more for us as we fly to an empty house and needed a week of days to pack. They will do the latest moves, both residential and commercial. Just call and get an estimate. They can pack you or pack yourself. They will provide the boxes and come with a store of clothes and hash and not bubble wrap when they come. They were also exactly on time, efficient and friendly; They introduced themselves by our names, so that when they wanted information they could refer to us. The first thing they did after the introductions was to walk around the house with us and show us what a they should go to and point out. which needs special attention.

Basic insurance is $.60 per item or the cost of repairs, whichever is less. So you want more insurance. That’s up to you. Most of the breakage occurs during loading and unloading, not during transport.
My reaction was twofold to move when I had to be put in storage. Mahwah Motors has a state of the art storage facility. It has 24-hour security and air conditioning. It can handle industrial, commercial and residential properties. Things like mine are stored in a palletized vault. Solid wood is less expensive to you when you store it and it is solid wood. It is 5′ by 7′ x 7′. Everything is left packed ready to be moving to your final home. This means less handling, less possibility of breakage. Mirrors, large mirrors and artwork shelves are special. The cell is private, not public. Access is by appointment only and the facility is managed by a company of employees. If you go to their website, you can actually see the storage facility.
It took the men 2 1/2 hours to pack my furniture and boxes and get them all into the truck. At the end they gave me a receipt, where the items were taken and what they were doing with them. They shake off the load and fill the vault that stores my things. You can see the support on the website.
A little suggestion for those of you who might be getting ready. Label all your boxes in which room furniture should go. Each box number and keep towel with litter box numbers and what you do in each box. I would also put one of the electronic booklets in each box with your name on it. The books are stronger than the smaller ones. Wrap the plate separately with a good soup. Do not load the client.
