Make Ahead Protein Shake Mixes: Simple Recipes for Tasty Shakes

When I had gastric bypass surgery a few years back, I was advised to supplement my diet with protein shakes. I have found that many protein powders do not taste very good simply mixed with milk or water, but they can be quite tasty when combined with a few other ingredients. Sometimes there is no time to measure different drugs, but; I want something that I can put in my mixing bowl, shake and go. These recipes are perfect for me and I think you will love them too, the reason why you are looking for ways to increase your protein intake. Each recipe makes enough for about four servings.

Vanilla Latte

One cup of vanilla protein powder
One cup of deaf instant coffee
One tablespoon of Splenda
Two tables French-vanilla non-dairy cream (powder)

Mix ¼ cup of vanilla latte into mix cold protein milk into eight ounces. To prepare a protein drink, mix ¼ cup vanilla latte mix with two ounces of room temperature water and stir to make a paste. Then in hot milk or water, milk or water, stir that cookie into six ounces

Chocolate Mocha

One cup of chocolate protein powder
One cup of deaf instant coffee
One tablespoon of Splenda
One tablespoon sugar free chocolate fudge mix

Mix ¼ cup chocolate mocha into eight ounces of cold milk for a cold protein mix. To prepare a hot protein drink, mix a cup of mocha with two ounces of room temperature water and mix to make a paste. Then make the flour in six ounces of warm milk or water.

Caramel Mocha Frappe

One cup of chocolate protein pillow
One cup of deaf instant coffee
One tablespoon of Splenda
Mix two tablespoons of sugar free butterscotch

Mix ¼ cup caramel mocha frappe into eight ounces of cold milk for a cold protein shake. To prepare a hot protein drink, mix a cup of caramel mocha frappe with two ounces of room temperature water and stir to make a paste. Then make the flour in six ounces of warm milk or water.

Cinnamon Vanilla Tea

One cup of vanilla protein powder
a cup of instant tea
One tablespoon of Splenda
Two tablespoons French vanilla non-dairy creamer (powder)
teaspoon of cinnamon

Mix ¼ cup cinnamon vanilla tea mix into eight ounces of cold milk for a cold protein shake. To prepare a hot protein drink, mix a cup of cinnamon vanilla tea with two ounces of room temperature water and stir to a paste. Then make the flour in six ounces of warm milk or water.

Bana Joe

Mix one tablespoon sugar free Banana pudding

Mix ¼ cup banana joe mix into eight ounces of cold milk for a cold protein shake. To prepare a hot protein drink, mix a cup of banana joe with two ounces of room temperature water and stir to make a paste. Then make the flour in six ounces of warm milk or water.

Pumpkin Spice Latte

One cup of vanilla protein powder
One cup of deaf instant coffee
One tablespoon of Splenda
½. To prepare a hot protein drink, mix a cup of pumpkin spice latte with two ounces of room temperature water and stir to make a paste. Then make the flour in six ounces of warm milk or water.
