Making a Whole Foods Gift Basket

What better way to share a healthy meal than to give a whole foods personalized gift basket? Everyone loves a gift basket. A basket can be a gift of convenience, thought, and sophistication. So what ideas should you put in your whole foods gift basket? It’s easier than you think.

First, buy a strong basket. Stronger is better because some whole foods are not too light. I have found many deals on used wicker at garage sales, flea markets, and second hand stores. This is what is nice about baskets; they can be used over and over again.

Second, what types of whole foods does the recipient make? I know someone who eats nothing but fruit. Preparing my healthy gift basket was easy with that in mind. Some people only like veggies. Others prefer a mixture. Whatever you like, it will be the main ingredient in your whole food basket. Everyone eats a healthy gift basket.

Have some organic whole foods as the base of your basket. I highly recommend organic as they really do taste immensely better than non-organic. Add in some organic herbs. Place a health-related magazine or publisher in ad outside of entertainment. You can also add a map and colorful towels to carry all the food in the basket. Also, there are heavy-duty colored clear wraps available. A distressed matching colored ribbon will also come in handy. This makes a beautiful display! You want your healthy gift to stand out!
