Mel Gibson returned to the box office for the first time in several years last month with his movie Edge of Darkness. Edge of Darkness has gotten mostly mediocre reviews so far, but they’re not letting that dampen Mel Gibson’s career. With Mel Gibson it’s really wowed us but he had an excellent career. These are the eight best Mel Gibson movies.
8th Best Mel Gibson Movie: Maverick
The Maverick is one of the quietest movies in Mel Gibson’s career. Daytime television remakes are generally terrible, but Maverick was a good venture even though it was based on a classic.
7th Best Mel Gibson Movie: Patriots
Although 10 Things I Hate About You was his first hit, it was The Patriot that Heath Ledger felt he could act. /a>. Mel Gibson isn’t too bad.
6th Best Mel Gibson Movie: Mad Max: Beyond Thunder
There aren’t many movies that are the third movie in a franchise and are still at this level of quality. The first two movies are still better, but Beyond Thunderdome isn’t far off.
5th Mel Gibson Best Movie: Lethal Weapon 2
It’s easy to forget how good the first two Lethal Weapon movies are, because the first three didn’t measure up to the first two, and the most recent Lethal Justice series didn’t. But the first two Lethal Web movies are as good as most of the movie series.
4th Best Mel Gibson Movie: Lethal Weapon
Not only is the original Lethal Weapon one of the great action movies and buddy cop movies but also Martin Riggs most idle heroes action
3rd Best Mel Gibson Movie: Mad Max
Although Lethal Weapon 1 and 2 match with many other movie series they are not as good as Mel Gibson’s best movie series. Mad Max was the great dystopian movie that first put Mel Gibson on the board.
2nd Best Mel Gibson Movie: The Warrior
What is the greatest achievement of the season? Okay, so maybe it’s not quite The Empire Strikes Back or The Godfather Part II, but it’s awfully close.
Best Mel Gibson Movie: Braveheart
Some critics weren’t so high on Braveheart, but it was on almost everyone else. How can you not kill people with a sword like a crazy Scotsman with a painted face?
