Melrose Memorial Day Parade: Sunday, May 30, 2010

1:30 p.m.: The Melrose Memorial Day Parade features the local high school marching band as well as the Volunteer Fife and Drum Corps, the Mexico Lindo Mariachi Band and others. There will also be civic groups and floats.

Newton Memorial Day Parade: Sunday, May 30, 2010

1:00 p.m.: Parade formation begins at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Washington and Adams Streets, Newton, MA.
2:00 pm.: Parade starts.
Newton, MA Parade Route: Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Washington and Adams Streets, Newton, MA to Washington and Walnut Streets, from Walnut to Watertown Street and proceeding to Bridge Street.

Somerville, MA Memorial Day Parade: Sunday, May 30, 2010

8:00 a.m.: American Legion Post #19 walks down Highland Avenue to the Somerville Central Library and monuments along Central Hill Park.
1:00 p.m.: The Somerville Memorial Day Parade steps off from the Somerville City Hall Concourse and moves 2.3 miles down Highland Avenue, ending at Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Teele Square, Somerville, MA.

Concord Memorial Day Parade: Monday, May 31, 2010

9:00 a.m.: The first Memorial Day Parade in Concord, MA starts; location: Rideout Field to Kenneth Dunn Square.
12 noon: Concord loves Memorial Day so much they need a second parade; location: Garrison Street to St. Bernard’s and Sleepy Hollow Cemeteries, to Monument Square.

11:00 a.m.: Parade steps off from Main Street near the Senior Center, proceeds down Main Street to Park Avenue Cemetery, St. Mary’s Cemetery, Grove Cemetery, Street Cemetery and Veteran’s Memorial in Holden, MA.
Leicester Memorial Day Parade: Monday, May 31, 2010

10:00 a.m.: The 2010 Leicester Memorial Day Parade steps off from the Memorial School located on Memorial Drive. The parade makes its way to the Town Common. For more information please call(508) 892-9238.

Lexington Memorial Day Parade: Monday, May 31, 2010

8:45 a.m.: Memorial Day celebrations begin with a ceremony at Lexington Firefighters Memorial.
9:00 a.m.: Wreath laying at Westview Cemetery
10:00 a.m.: Lexington Memorial Day Parade commences at 1557 Mass Ave near the police station

2010 Lexington Memorial Day Parade Route: East on Mass Ave to Munroe Cemetery with a ceremony at the gazebo; west on Mass Ave to the police station and memorials at Cary Hall; Bedford and Harrington Street to the Olde Burying Ground; parade winds down at Battle Green for a ceremony. Senator Kenneth Donnelly is expected to speak at the 2010 Lexington Memorial Day Parade final ceremony.

Mendon Memorial Day Parade: Monday, May 31, 2010

9:30 a.m.: Mendon starts the parade early. The parade ends at Founders’ Park on Main Street and Route 16.

Nantucket: May 31, 2010

A small Nantucket Memorial Day parade takes the place of the annual Memorial Day Parade.
Noon: The 2010 Nantucket Memorial Day Parade begins.
Parade Route for the 2010 Nantucket Memorial Day Parade: Veteran’s Monument on Broad Street, down Main Street to the Civil War Monument, finishing at Prospect Hill Cemetery for final services (expected time 1:00 p.m.)

Newburyport Memorial Day Parade : Monday, May 31, 2010

10:45 a.m.: The Newburyport, MA 2010 Memorial Day Parade starts on Pond Street and includes the of the Lynn English High School Marine Corps Junior ROTC.

Pittsfield Memorial Day Parade: Monday, May 31, 2010

10:00 a.m.: The Annual Pittsfield, MA Memorial Day Parade forms at Pittsfield City Hall.
Parade Route: From Pittsfield, MA City Hall the parade moves south to South Street Peace Memorial, and ends at Wahconah Park.

Rutland Memorial Day Parade: Monday, May 31, 2010

7:30 a.m.: Celebrations start early in farming communities and Rutland is no exception. American Legion and Boy Scout members should be assembling at Community Hall. From Community Hall the groups forge ahead to New Boston Cemetery, West Rutland Cemetery, to Brooks Square to Memorial Field to the Veteran’s Memorial.
10:00 a.m. More groups join the 2010 Rultand Memorial Day Parade and march down Main Street to Rural Cemetery, to the World War 1 Memorial located on the quaint Rutland town common, to the WWII Memorial, and the Korean and Vietnam Memorials.

SudburyMemorial Day Parade: Monday, May 31, 2010

7:30 a.m.: Revolutionary War Salute at the Minuteman Statue
8:30 a.m.: Commemorative ceremonies at Old North
Cemetery
11:25 a.m. Program begins at Town Hall

Wayland Memorial Day Parade: Monday, May 31, 2010

11:00 a.m.: Parade steps off from Wayland Middle School and heads to Lakeview Cemetery in Wayland, MA.
12:30 p.m.: Expected ending time

Webster Memorial Day Parade: Monday, May 31, 2010

11:00 a.m.: The Webster Memorial Day Parade steps off from Webster Town Hall located at 350 Main Street in Webster, MA.
