Beech Bend
Nationally recognized for its drag strip and oval track, Beech Bend is a first class auto racing facility and amusement park. Home to Stock Car Racing, Fun Racing, and NHRA Drag Racing, the park also hosts national automotive events throughout the year. The other side of the park offers amusement rides, picnic areas, a campground, and a water park. Open from March-November.

Shaker Museum at South Union
Come learn, first-hand, about the Shaker way of life. This former Shaker community, founded in 1807 and closed in 1922, now houses a museum, gift shop, and overnight lodging. While visitng, you’ll learn more about the Shaker’s through artifcats like homespun blankets, kerosene lamps, butter churns, and Shaker furniture. Journals, recording everyday happens, are on display and for sale in the gift shop. They make a great present for a history buff.

Lost River Cave and Valley
Enjoy a walking tour (20 minutes) along the river’s edge and hear stories of Native American’s, troops, and Jesse James, who are belived to have been frequent visitors of the cave. Visit a former underground nite club and pass through one of the largest cave entrances east of the Mississippi River into a comfortable 57 degrees for a boat tour (25 minutes) of this historical attraction. When you emerge from underground, nature trails, bird-watching, picnicking, searching for gemstones, tour a butterfly sanctuary, shopping for gifts, and conquering the rock climbing wall, await you.

The National Corvette Museum
68,000 square feet of Corvettes! Created to preserve America’s only sports car, visitors will enjoy car displays with new and older ‘Vettes, racing editions, and sleek prototypes. For $490, car enthusiasts receive the royal treatment with the RC8 option which allows you to take delivery on your new Corvette right at the Museum! Family and friends can watch via the Museum’s webcam as you step into your new shiny Corvette and drive it right out of the “Corvette Nursery.” The best time to visit is during one of nine events hosted by the Museum through the year including Birthday bashes and Corvette Forum events.

Bowling Green Assembly Plant
Equivalent to the size of 22 football fields put together, the Assembly Plant is the only place in the world that the Corvette is made. Visitors are invited to take a tour for a peek at how how they are put together. One lucky person gets to aid in the birth of a new Corvette at the end of the tour by starting the engine for the first time.

Mammouth Cave National Park
At 365 miles long, Mammouth Cave is the world’s longest cave and one of the oldest’s tourist attractions in North American. Tours have been given here since 1816.
