Last semester I enrolled in a speech course at my college. I’ve been dreading the exam ever since I signed up, but I thought I might as well go ahead and knock when I needed to get my degree. So much for that class, when on the first day I let go of my worries about myself and dropped the class, I knew I would still have it at a later time. Well, while I was browsing the course catalog over the summer, I saw that an online prayer course was offered. Of course I was surprised at that, since I used to present speeches in front of the class in the course of prayer that you saw. I started on my school’s website to read more about the course. 3. There would be mandatory class sessions in which we would present our speeches. I figured 3 speeches could handle anything so I went ahead and registered in class.
In addition to not being in class twice a week for the 17th week of the semester, the online course gives me the advantage to complete other things without the effort of going to school on my schedule. The beauty of it is that summer courses are only 8 weeks long, more than half of which are spring and fall semester courses. All of our written homework assignments and quizzes are submitted online through a program called Blackboard. We have a discussion forum where we can interact with classmates and professors. Email is the preferred choice of communication however the professional provided those IM screen names and phone numbers if needed to be reached. faster than him.
We had the first speech to present a 4-5 minute speech on your career choice. Even though we made sure we didn’t want to make eye contact during the first step of the conversation, I didn’t want to read my code. Most people from that class showed that public speaking we were a bit uncomfortable, which is why most of us. He opted for us instead of in the course of the order. On Saturday, we had to present our first prayers. When the class was large, the professor would divide it into two sessions where the first half would arrive at one time and the other would arrive later. Since not many spoke before, they all proposed more comfortable speeches.
Another advantage of this online course is that we are required to answer our classmates’ homework each week. With constant online interaction, we have to see each other 3 times in general, everyone is more relaxed and open. With one speech under my belt, my feelings of nervousness have dissipated, and I am looking forward to the last 2 speeches of the semester in a few weeks before the end of the semester. I believe that online classes can be more convenient in some cases than regular classes because they allow you to work in your own setting. and in your peace. You can submit your resume around your work schedule or anything else you need to do. You don’t have to sit and listen to the lectures that are going on in the classroom. Although in college, everyone is an adult, online courses will give you a greater sense of freedom.
If I had stayed in the first prayer class we described, I doubt if I would have lasted the full 17 weeks. The pressure you felt like in the classroom was huge. Being afraid to come to class is not a good thing to do. I have already registered for two online courses for my final semester in the fall. I think online courses are great for students who work well on their own, prefer a more personal setting, or those who have jobs after college they are trying to get around. You’re still learning the same material and still getting your course credit.
