About seven years ago I decided to get myself back in shape – or better yet, in better shape than I’ve ever been. That’s when I discovered the company. Firm Studio opened 30 years ago in South Carolina, combining cardio and weight training for safe, effective and fast workouts. Recent firm workouts are designed for women (previously firm workouts had male “students”, but weight-training segments are easily used Both sexes are capable of toning.
My 10 favorite firm workouts:
Carved Buns, Hips, & Thighs – my favorite “old school” firm workout, Tracie Long leads a kick-ass 35 minute core workout.
Hi-Def Sculpt – a newer firmer workout, this is a slower paced but more intense workout. It includes two variations – the express (about 30 minutes) and the full length (about one hour).
Cardio Party – five instructors of the firm do all kinds of cardio for 40 minutes of work; kicks and stirs the sauces.
The Power of Yoga – this was my introduction to yoga; great for stretching and strengthening, and a good length (about 35 minutes).
Jiggle Free Buns – my workout with one of the firm’s specialized “tools” – Transformer (a href=”https://e-info.vn/tag/step-aerobics glorified” >Step Aerobics which can be stored on the mound). Another 30 minute workout, includes one of my favorite moves – “Hot Cross Buns!”
Dangerous Curves Ahead – uses another powerful tool – Resistance Loop (included with DVD). Four workouts are included: Total Body (about an hour), Cardio Express (35 minutes), Sculpting Express (30 minutes), and Core Cardio Express (25 minutes).
Lower Body Sculpt II – uses signature firm “Fanny Lifter” stepson; This 35 minute workout is performed while sitting or lying down.
Express Total Body Sculpting – Sculpting uses a firm wood (he could also use light dumbbells and a heavy bar); 35 minutes to sculpt the whole body.
