Waylon Jennings. He played the Balladeer in The Lord of Hazzard and sang the theme song “Good Ol’ Boy”. I love his singing voice, as well as his speaking voice when he spoke at the most important moments in the show. It usually happens with General Lee flying through the sky or with Bo or Luke stuck behind bars. (Frustrahanger was always at the commercial break. When I hear the song on the radio, it still takes me to Hazzard County. Ahhh…

Alan Jackson. It’s been around for years and years and has so many songs that there’s no way I could name them all. His hit “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere” is my theme song about long, long work days. I just can’t get it out of my head. One thing is for sure, when I listen to his songs, I just laugh and suddenly they are released. Just something about the voice. It’s cute too.

Garth Brooks. It raises one new cookie in my opinion. I love her voice and energy when she repeats, but I can’t get over the whole Trisha Yearwood episode. Oh, well. “Two Pina Coladas” is still one of my favorites. It made me laugh the first time I heard it, and it still does today.

Kenny Chesney. This man is always singing on the beach or around the beach. I don’t mind! His voice is very romantic feel and even beats in these songs, you want to break out the pearl and sing. right through He is the party’s go-to guy.

Clint Black. I was never really into Clint Black until a few years ago when he released the song “Nothin’ But Taillights.” The ultimate revenge is praise, and it’s my favorite. Heck, I bought a whole CD just for that song!

Kenny Rogers. Gambler himself. I grew up watching those movies and that song “Aleo. I was hesitant at first and thought to give up, but I ate my words , when I heard it.

George Strait. wow So much for this man, how can I list all his songs? One story that comes to mind is “Amarillo Morning”. My father claimed he had never heard of George Strait, but he played that song over and over when I was younger. Some of that is free. When I told him who it was that sang, he denied it; He still does today! Funny, I really like Mr. Strait, and I hope he never, ever goes away. Sometimes I will see him live, and I will watch him sing my song, “I Cross My Heart”, from his movie “Pura Patria”.

Jeff Foxworthy. Now I know you’re trying to tell me Jeff isn’t a singer, he’s a comedian. Yes, he is funny, a funny man, but he also sings! Have you ever heard one of his comedy albums? (I’ve got everything and yes, he sings.) He has some actual songs in them and even released a Christmas song called “Redneck 12 Days of Christmas.” Absolutely hilarious!
