Watching movies is always a good time, and it can be even more fun when you watch it with friends and family. I’m pretty good at all kinds of movies, but there are ten movies that I can definitely rate as being good. My top 10 summer hits are actually all major movies, mostly in the 1990’s.
10. Now and Then – 1995 – This is my number 10 summer movie because it’s about a group of girls who are really good friends and it takes place in the summer. I can definitely relate to these characters and some of the actions that take place in this movie. The movie is very cute and is a good summer time flick.
9. 10 Things I Hate About You – 1999 – This is my number 9 summer film because it’s fun, it’s a heart felt movie which takes place in a high school with a large set of characters. There is a student from school who is somewhat trying to find love and then students who are very analytical about relationships. This is a great summer movie with friends summer vacation.
8. Office Space – 1999 – This is a hilarious and fun movie overall for almost any season, but it’s good to watch during the summer when family or friends. It is a place about work that has to put a bunch of its workers, and how the workers react to the situation. The characters are easy to relate to and can even relate to their parents and how they feel about work at times.
7. All That – 1999 – is a cute summer flick that takes place in high school popular with kids. nor popular children. It just reminds me of a good summer movie on the beach or with a bunch of friends. The characters are fun and can relate to me and my friends in high school.
6. Dazed and Confused – 1993 – This is always a good flick to get you ready for summer, school is out and it’s time to have fun. The cast is a bunch of familiar actors who play great together. This is a good summer flick that is set in the 60’s and is good for ages.
5. Nobody Found – 2003 – This movie is so cute and funny how you could not enjoy the noise with the family this summer. There are a lot of funny parts and good for ages. Plus it’s set on the ocean, which makes me definitely think of the beach and summer.
4. Ferris Bueller’s Day Off – 1986 – This is an old one, but such a good and fun one. The characters of high school students are somewhat typical, and they are easy to understand. This movie is about a boy who skips school and tries to make his girlfriend and best friend. they can have a good time. It just reminds me of a good summertime flick.
3. Mallrats – 1995 – This movie is absolutely hilarious, and I love all the characters. This movie is about a guy who tries to find a good way to propose, but then ends up getting loose. Then he and his best friend that day in the market run into friends and enemies. The ending is really good, and you will be like all the different players. It’s a good trick to watch in the car on the way to a vacation spot in the summer.
2. Romy and Michelle High School Reunion – 1997 – I absolutely love this movie, I can relate to the two girls lead . This is a movie about two girls who were kind of dorky in high school, but a lot of fun. They are getting ready to go back to their union and are trying to look like they are way happier than they actually are. Lots of quirky scenes, and the sound is actually pretty good. This is a good summer flick to watch your girlfriends. It’s a fun and cute movie.
1. Bernie’s Walk – 1989 – This is my number one summer movie because it takes place on the beach and parties are where everyone goes< time This is a cute movie about a guy who is the president of this company that these two other characters work for. Two friends are invited to a beach beach house for the weekend, but end up finding a dead umbrella and escalate into movies. It’s super funny and the characters and productions are definitely old school. I could watch this movie every summer, it’s so summer time I think.
Independence Day Movies are made with so many special effects, but a lot of the movies I reviewed were older and just remind me of summer. If you haven’t seen some of the movies check them out, I believe you will get a lot of chuckle out of them. They are all pretty funny and all the characters are so memorable.
