My Top 5 Favorite Hotels of Coastal Southern California

If there is heaven on earth, it is located in coastal California. Sunshine, wildlife, and stunning views are what make a trip along California’s true coastal roads a treat. If you start your trip just south of San Francisco and make your way Pacific-coast-highway”>Pacific-coast-highway< /a> towards San Diego you will experience images that you have never seen before.

I recently had the opportunity to do some time travel in southern California on the coastal road and I stopped at 5 me. favorite hotels along the coastal road. Both are a little different, a little more expensive, but worth the money.

1. Fess Parker Double Tree Resort Hotel – located right on the beach and within walking distance of downtown Santa Barbara. Built in 1986, this hotel captures the historic architecture of the Spanish and Mission areas. Whether you’re traveling alone or with your family, there’s plenty to do during your stay. Go out on foot and experience what the area has to offer. The hotel is located north of the town. Consider walking if it’s a nice day because parking is a little difficult to find during the day. My room during the stay was 5 star, and the hotel room was reasonable for the night. If you are a member of the Coffee Honors program you can get a great rate. But because of the popular hotels book rooms online, you will have to be able to call members with a diamond number. make a reservation

2. Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa– you’ll never forget this overnight stay. Whether you want to spend your entire stay in a luxury hotel or venture out among the locals, this hotel is luxury at its best. Room rates are expensive, however, if you’re a Gold Hyatt member, you can probably reserve a place for around $200 a night. Located on the Pacific-coast road, you are centrally located to all the activities the area has to offer. The town center is within walking distance. surf shops are all located in the town of Sankt as well as restaurants, pubs and other shops. Swing by the Huntington Beach Pier and grab a burger and shake at Ruby’s or pick up the International Surfing Museum around the block on Olive Ave. If it’s a nice sunny day, there’s plenty to see and do in Surf City, USA.

3. Hilton Garden Inn – Carlsbad Beach – located 25 miles north of San Diego this hotel is ideally located . on the beach. Great family affordable get-a-way due to location and proximity to San Diego, Sea World, San Diego Zoo , and other attractions. Just on the other side of Interstate 5, a few blocks from the hotel are the Carlsbad Premium Outlets. The rooms are spacious, clean and have enough comfortable amenities for someone who doesn’t want to break their wallet for an hotel stay.

4. Hilton San Diego Gas Lamp Quarter – This hotel is located right in downtown San Diego’s historic-historic-lamp district< /a>. The situation is surrounded by things to do. It’s two blocks from Petco Park – home of the San Diego Padres. If you enjoy shopping outside the mall is located on the street and if you are hungry or thirsty there are over 100 restaurants and night clubs he chooses, all walking within the space. The cost of overnight stay is very reasonable considering the location of this hotel. HHonors can assist you in making a reservation when the hotel is oversold on site, which I understand is frequent.

5. The Hotel Del Coronado – this is my ultimate hotel experience and overall good to visit. This Victorian-style”>Victorian-style hotel was built in 1888, was placed on the National Historic Register in 1977, and is considered from being the #1 wedding in America. The truth about this hotel is that the rooms are not cheap. But there are no reasons to admire the hotel’s beautiful lobby. It is definitely worth seeing this historical treasure.

My love for the coastal region of California has always been greater.
