What Are MySpace Bulletins?
Let me start off by explaining what a MySpace bulletin is. When I first joined MySpace I couldn’t figure out what they were and how to use them. After I did some reading, I better understood it. Bulletins are basically emails. But when you post a bulletin, everyone on your friend’s list will get it. When you log in to your account, you will see the bulletin section. This is where the latest bulletins will be posted. Some of the bulletins get pretty ridiculous. I ignore a lot of them. But if you have something to share with all over your friends, send it in a bulletin.
How to Create Bulletins on MySpace
First, I will show you how to create a new bulletin. Login to your account and go to your account page. On your account page you will see your Mail Center. In this box you will see the Post Bulletin link, click that link.
On the next page you will see the bulletin title field, message field, and a field to tick to allow comments. Fill these fields in. If you want to allow people to comment on your bulletin, tick the allow comments field. Then click the post button. On the next page you will have a chance to look over your bulletin. Click the Post Bulletin to post it or the Edit Bulletin to make changes.
How to View a Bulletin on MySpace
Next, I will show you how to view bulletins on MySpace. On your account page you will see the recent bulletins that have been posted. You will probably need to scroll down the page a little. You will see three columns, the person who posted it, the date it was posted, and the subject of the bulletin. To read the bulletin, click the subject of the bulletin.
How to Reply to Bulletins on MySpace
Next, I will show you how to reply to bulletins on MySpace. Click on a bulletin in your bulletin’s list. Below the bulletin you will see the Reply to Poster button. Click that button to reply to the bulletin. On the next page, type your reply and click the Send button.
How to Repost Bulletins on MySpace
Now I will show you how to repost bulletins on MySpace. Open the bulletin that you want to repost in a new window or tab. You can right click on the bulletin and click Open In New Window or Tab. On your account page, click the Post Bulletin link in your mail center. Copy the information from the bulletin that you opened and paste it in the new bulletin that you are posting. Then post the new bulletin and close the other one out.
How to Comment on Bulletins on MySpace
The last thing that I am going to show you is how to comment on bulletins. Click a bulletin, below the bulletin you will see the comment button. Click the comment button. There will only be a comment button if the person posting the bulletin allows comments on it.
When the page reloads, type your comment in the comment box. Click the Post button. On the next page you will need to click the post button again. You can edit the comment if you need too.
