New Roswell ‘Confession’ Released

According to a report at Fox news, a new text confession regarding the Roswell incident has just been released. Lt. Walter Haut served as the public relations officer on the base during 1947. This was the man who issued the first famous press release that read “RAAF Captures Flying Saucer On Ranch in Roswell Region.” He was also the man who issued the second press release stating a mistake had been made and it was simply a weather balloon.

The Roswell story started out in 1947, sixty years ago. Witnesses claimed to have seen a UFO along with captured, dead alien bodies. A press release was then issued to tell the world about the incredible discovery of a flying disc. Then 24 hours later, the denial that no flying saucer was found, was released in newspapers around the country.

The government stands with their take on the story, that it was a weather balloon. However, over the years, information has come out that has continued to ignite the Roswell story. Now this has happened again.

In 2005, Lt. Walter Haut died. He only wanted his confession to be released after his death. Just last week, the sworn affidavit was opened. Lt. Haut describes seeing the UFO, and also claims he witnessed seeing the alien bodies. Halt is the only original participant of the Roswell incident, to say he looked at alien bodies.

Lt. Haut says he was asked to go to a high level meeting, at a base, with commander Col. William Blanchard, along with Commander of the Eight Army Air Force, Roger Ramey. Haut claims that pieces of the downed UFO were passed around during this meeting. No one there was able to tell exactly what the material was.

He continues, in this confession, to say the press release was sent out because local people in the area knew about the crash site. Haut says there was a second crash site, where more pieces of the UFO were found. This second site was more important than the first site found by the farmer. Haut said the plan was to “divert attention” from this second crash site.

In the affidavit, he says the clean up operation of the UFO went on for months. Military personnel were alleged to have continued to collect debris from both crash sites, and they got rid of any evidence that something unusual occurred.

Haut then says Colonel Blanchard took him to a location called Building 84, a hanger at Roswell, and he was shown the UFO. He says the UFO was metallic, egg shaped, and somewhere around 12 to 15 feet in total length. The object didn’t have any windows, wings, tail or a landing gear.

After this, he says he was taken to two bodies covered by a tarpaulin on the floor. Haut says the bodies were 4 feet long and they had big heads. At the very end of the confession affidavit, Haut says according to the Fox news report “I am convinced that what I personally observed was some kind of craft and its crew from outer space.”

What makes this report unusual? Haut always downplayed any involvement and never claimed he saw alien bodies or a UFO while he was alive. If he wanted fame, he would have talked about these incidents. This is just a story Haut gave, and still doesn’t completely prove anything. However, this will surely continue to keep the Roswell legend alive for many years to come.
