According to statistical data released by United States Census, North Port is 11th on the list of fastest growing cities in Florida . Between 2000 and 2004, the population increased from a modest 12,475 to a whopping 35,272.

The Future of North Point Real Estate
The city has recently proposed to diversify the city’s tax base with residential land uses. They hope to achieve a healthy balance between residential, commercial and industrial land. With the proposed annexations, North Port will be the third largest city in Florida.
