O’Charley’s Restaurant To-Go Service – It’s Not Worth the Wait

O’Charley’s is one of my favorite places to eat. My husband and I love loaded potato soup and rolls for dinner.

Lately, I don’t like cooking. We thought about going out to eat, but he didn’t want to go through the labor of getting two kids ready. So I decided to try O’Charley’s office.

I looked up O’Charley’s site on the internet and found a copy of their ad-board. My husband decided to have the bacon triple cheeseburger with french fries. I decided to have a 7oz sirloin steak, a cauliflower cheese casserole, and a potato soup. For the kids, we decided to get an adult chicken fried steak and a loaded potato soup (a href=”https:/ /e-info.vn/tag/chicken-fried-steak”> which my husband ate).

I called my place at O’Charley’s and told the lady who answered the phone that I would like to place a pick up order. He asked me to hold him. I waited ten minutes before someone came to the phone. When the lady returned the phone, she had to ask me again why I was calling.

I set our order. I was told that our food would be ready to collect in thirty minutes. So I got our money, waited thirty minutes to get my food and left.

When I arrived at the restaurant, I found a parking space dedicated to people taking O’Charley’s orders. I got up and went in. I greeted the guest. I told him I was there to go to order. He asked me to go to the back against the side of the kitchen. The guest sat me down. She told me that my food wasn’t ready yet, but it should be in about ten minutes. I went ahead and paid her my order and went back to the front of the restaurant to wait.

While I waited, I observed many employees talking around. They were not very busy. Finally, the manager noticed me sitting at the front of the restaurant waiting for their table.

I brought our food home, and found that they had given us a supply of books and honey and butter. My steak was cooked to my specification, as well as to everyone else’s order. We sat down to our dinner. Everything was delicious! One disappointment was that the bowl of loaded potato soup that came with the to-go order seemed considerably smaller than the portion you get at a restaurant.

O’Charley’s will probably be one of my go-to restaurants. But I doubt whether we will use the service again. It’s just taking too long to get food.
