The World Wrestling Federation (WWF) changed its name to WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment} about 5 years ago. The organization, called the World Wildlife Federation, claimed that owner Vince McMahon had stolen the WWF letters from them, giving Vince the right to make him multi-million dollars the name of the company changes.
One thing that millions of wrestlers around the world don’t know is that wrestling is organized like baseball. World Wrestling Entertainment is a professional organization. The AAA class is called Ohio Valley Wrestling. There are wrestlers who have established contracts for the WWE, but they still need a little wrestling school before they get to the big show. OVW is located in Louisville, Kentucky. What’s perfect about Vince McMahon is because it’s too low a type of organizing system where he can train wrestlers and make them big. Try them on a microphone, in front of a small audience to see their entertaining skills, and see if they are WWE material.
. The OVW alliance is designed to make or break a wrestler. Male or female men pay for this wrestling match. The wrestling league just below OVW is DSW (Abyss Wrestling South) which WWE considers a wrestling league. You can enter either league, but most of the time, lovers who try wrestling for the first time are placed in deep south wrestling. When you start, you have to pay to enter.
Apparently 1 wrestlers pay 500.00 for what they call boot camp. To see if the wrestlers have the “will” in them and the fire to take them to the highest level to see if wrestling is what they want to do. Those who cross the plains or the camp, so to speak, cross. as two and a half.
Level two wrestlers cost 150.00 for training. This is a plane to work in the gym moves and holds, and a little wrestling on local television to see how you look on camera. If you are lucky, as you are very few, put on a degree
. Level 3 is an advanced wrestling level. This is where you get noticed by WWE officials and scouts. You have to wrestle full time OVW wrestlers and some WWE wrestlers like Al Snow to see if you are at the level you need. They are also booked in what they call dark matches at WWE events. These are “staged” matches that are not televised so you can see how the big crowd will react to you before wrestling. It’s usually the latest stepping-stones that makes or breaks you. At the end of this step is where you get your WWE contract. Thats where the money is. As soon as you sign your contract, whatever the deal is, and start your payment.
Just because you’re offered a contract doesn’t mean you automatically make it to WWE television (progressive training is 2500.00 by the way}. A lot of wrestling after the contract they stay in OVW until an opportunity opens up for them in the open. WWE.
I’ve seen many people who were offered contracts, wrestled on OVW television for a few years and never even made it to WWE television. Or finally get a call to WWE, we’ll wrestle a few times on television, and we won’t have what it takes. that is a beast of a business. You don’t know what’s left for you. You have a passion for business in the industry. Wrestlers such as Batista, Randy Orton, John Xena, Eugene, Bogeyman, La Resistance, Brock Lenser, and the Bashams all came from the ranks of OVW. They have a live wrestling show every Wednesday night, and many house shows every week so the public can see the wrestlers. Vince McMahon also uses ovw so WWE wrestlers who need extra work can go down a bit or wrestlers who are injured and go back to rehab. I love when that happens, because it gives us a chance to see the big names in the business. This past week at a house show here in Elizabethtown, La Resistance united for the first time in years, plus ECW’s Kelley Kelley, Paul Birchall and a few others were here, all getting extra work in. the price of money.
