As a member of the Cooking Club of America, I periodically volunteer to try out new kitchen equipment. A few months ago I received a brochure about AeroGarden which uses aeroponics to grow organic fruits and herbs. The neat design and organic growing technique offered by this product intrigued me to try it.
What is AeroGarden?
AeroGarden is a compact Aeroponic module that allows you to grow herbs herbs, fruits, and vegetables in your home all year round. . It uses seed pods, a Spectrum grow light bulb, and a hydroponics system to produce organic vegetables. The design of this compact machine will be implemented in apartments and small houses.
What AeroGarden has to offer

Pros of AeroGarden
AeroGarden has a lot of fantastic features. First of all, it has a compact design that allows you to grow up to seven different plants at once in a space of less feet 3 squares Second, I set it up easily. I put mine together and got it up and running in less than 15 minutes. Then it doesn’t take much water. Unlike conventional gardens that are irrigated from the surface, the water of the AeroGarden is subverted. Because the plant’s water system is contained under water, you will not release as much water to evaporate, and therefore use less water. The next advantage of this system is that plants grow faster and produce larger organic crops. Cons of the AeroGarden and AeroGrow Products
While I love my AeroGarden this system has a few flaws. First of all, it is quite expensive for such a small garden. The main system is about $150 and the individual gout systems are about $20. But since they produce up to six months, this is quite a reasonable price spread over six months. The second disadvantage is that you cannot grow only seven plants at one time. If you want to grow more than this you need to buy another or third plan.
