I have two toddlers, one I gave only Enfamil and the other started on Enfamil until I wised up. He chose his parents by chance. I had sent my husband to the grocery store to pick up the Enfamil, but they were out and my husband picked it up next door. They brought this parents choice home. Of course I don’t like it at first. It was thicker than Enfamil. It seemed to him that he had more humor in him.
Upon inspection of the titles it was found to be almost exactly the same. The only difference I saw was that the parent choices had more fat in it. That was good in my daughter’s case. He needed extra stones. That also explained why Enfamil seemed drier than Parent’s Choice. My daughter accepted Parent’s Choice without problems and never reconsidered.
Parent’s Choice has the same ingredients and comes in the same bulk container, but is half the cost of Enfamil. It would be a wise choice for the parent to change the parent’s choice if they accept their child. Parent’s Choice Infant Formula can only be found at Wal-Mart Stores. The average cost of Enfamil at Wal-Mart is $23.00 for a large can and the average cost of Parent’s Choice is $11.00. This will result in a 50% savings, which comes in handy when you go through the entire formula in that first year.
It’s a much better deal if you have Sam’s Club in stores, a whole store belonging to Wal-mart. Sam’s Club carries the same formula, but labeled under a different name. In the Sam Members Club it is called Mark, but to me it is exactly the same as Parent’s choice. There are extra great supplies for $15.
Their extra large ones are like the one and a half large cans you can get at Wal-Mart.
