For the first steps, kids can start by making stars and stripes out of tissue-paper-flowers”>tissue paper or craft paper. .They can start by cutting the entire stack and then creating it.

The stars and stripes in this patriotic-crafts should be blue and red and white, but of course the kids . to be creative!

Now you and kids need to wash the empty food dishes with soap and water.

Allow the jars to dry completely.

I like to use old mason jars and spaghetti jars for this project. Those figures are on the right to hold the pillar candle.

Now use the glass to paint some decoupage in the middle of the front showing the cut American Flag.

I recommend starting with the lashes, using the red blush first.

Have the kids put their little hands on the barrel and place them from the opposite side.

Now use a scraped decoupage brush to paint on the back of the cut red American flag.

Continue this process around the entire food jars.

Now add the white stripes. Don’t forget to leave the star room!

Tip: for a twist on the traditional American flag, try cutting stars out of blue paper. Decoupage them in the first jar. Now add the red and white stripes after this!

Now let the football medium be completely dry.

Cut a piece of ribbon that is 2 feet long. Tie these cords around the top of the empty jar. Look for red, white, or blue ribbon. You can also use American flag ribbon.

In a beautiful bow or you can even tie on the rough edges and glue them.

Fill the bottom of the 2-inch American Flag Candle Votives with some decorative sand. I will make any kind of sand.

Now put the candle inside. Make sure it is placed on a flat and stable surface before lighting the candle.

Now you can use this simple and beautiful love craft project in your patio this Fourth of July and really show your love for America!
