Personal Review of VTech – 2418 2.4 GHz Analog Cordless Phone (Black/Silver)

I was convinced by my husband that Prince was going on the phone in our bedroom. We didn’t have a good phone because we rarely talk there but we needed a phone. We bought a Vtech 2.4 GHz phone and it was fine.

He liked that I wanted a phone that stands up and takes up as little space as possible. At the top and bottom it would measure 9 inches high and 3 inches wide.

We literally say hello when the phone rings. We never even used to call ourselves. We just wanted a phone that allowed us to hear the other person on the other end.

It has some features, but this phone is simple. You will not get the speaker phone capability that is needed in my other rooms. You will not receive a caller i.d. which is very usual so I answered the phone this morning only to find that the number was wrong. It still works out for $18.88. Prices vary, so find the lowest price. We bought it in our town .

This is a cordless phone with a headset capability. 2.4 GHz technology is supposed to give us clear calls and in fact the sound is not terrible again considering the price and where it is located. He has a phone number that I collect; redial button and the very end of the call off. The phone button also has a flash so you can answer another call.

It has a memory speed dial number 10.
has selectable tones.
It has a website/canalder.
It has 30 channel operation for call clarity.

It has to be charged at 12 hours. It’s light and slightly curved so it fits really well in my hand. It is also an expensive black and silver phone.

It has a one year limited warranty, but I would buy a new phone for the price.

I wouldn’t suggest you put this in your office or living room but it would make a decent phone for a kid’s room if You allow your children to have cell phones. I know the reviews are not good for this phone. I would rate it and recommend it only as a phone that would go in the spare room or in your laundry room. The battery life is not supposed to be good so you don’t want this basic phone.
