One of the downfalls to Tekko is that the hotel is small and it’s a bit of a struggle to get into the elevators. Many guests tend to use the platform only when returning to their rooms. One of the times when a hotel would become the most crowded in one country was after the eruption, when people all left the same place at the same time. Tekko is a great place to meet new friends and get to know the voice players all love and admire. Along with Tekkoshocon, Pittsburgh also has two smaller conventions: the Sangawa Project and the Kurokiiro Tribute. The Sangawa Project is being held July 13-15 at the Center Inn Best Western Parkway. This convention will be the 18 and over convention, 2012 will be the third year in which Sangawa will be held. There will be funny pictures about Saturday morning cartoons, cult movies, and the goofier part of fandom. The difference with this convention is that the board and guest lectures are more mature with adult themes and language. At the door of Sangawa registration is 35 dollars, before registration until June is 30 dollars, and until March is 25 dollars. Price is one of the things that bring Sangawa attendees.
Another convention that Pittsburgh plays host to is Kurokirro. The time for this agreement has yet to be determined. The public is held in November at the Boyd Community Center in Pittsburgh. This is another smaller convention in Pittsburgh. It is proposed that before the Tekko convention, to help people get their agreement six months before the Tekko is officially held. At the Kurokiiro Festival you can learn to do the Japanese folk dances that everyone enjoys watching, or start making your own costumes if you have a passion for designing and sewing. The Kurokiiro Festival was founded in 2009 as a convention built around education. This is what Kurokiiro’s boards are built around: teaching attendees various things like cooking for a bento box.

They have to consider cos-playing chess. This is where the two teams battle it out from the human chess pieces. Much like the chess wizards play in the Harry Potter films. This is something worth watching. The public exercise is played at Setsucon College in January. This year it was celebrated on January 28-29. The meeting was great.
