CPR is something that everyone takes time to learn. Accidents all the time, and great things to be prepared for. Here in New York City, you can go to several places for CPR training and certification.
Safe Baby offers training in both New York and New Jersey. Don’t be fooled by their name, as they teach CPR not only to babies and children, but also to adults.
They offer non-certification classes for people like mothers who are just looking to learn how to prepare if something happens to their children. Depending on the location, their prices run from $65 to $85 for all types.
For certification, they have pediatric first aid and CPR classes that certify you in infant and child emergency skills. He learned the basic techniques of child rescue breathing and how to perform the Heimlich in infants or young children. Classes last 4-5 hours and the certification is valid for 2 years.

Frontline Health is another company that offers classes in New York City.
Their adult CPR certification class lasts 4 and a half hours and costs $60. The lesson discusses proper breathing in an emergency as well as how to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and thus reduce the risk of cardiac arrest.
Child CPR is also 4 and a half hours and $60 for the class.
They also offer a certified class in both infant and adult CPR. This class runs for 5 and a half hours and costs $70.
All certifications are valid for one year.
Their shift schedule, but as of April, they hold adult CPR classes all other Saturdays from 9:45 am. at 2:00 pm at Epiphany School, 121 East 28th Street between Lexington Avenue and 3rd Avenue.

Red Cross

Standard adult CPR first aid classes cost $85 and are 6 and a half hours long. For child CPR, the class costs $70 and is 5 hours long. Red Cross certification lasts one year.
