When I received my Roku as a Christmas gift, I was amazed at the regular content available for my streaming pleasure. The Roku Channel Store alone offers hundreds of options. You can stream channels such as Hulu Plus, Netflix, Crackle and Pandora directly through your black box. If you can’t or don’t want to pay for cable TV, this box will excite and entertain you.
I’ve been using Hulu Plus since I started my Roku adventures, and I’ve been pretty pleased with the results. The Roku box comes with a free two-month subscription to Hulu Plus. It has great perks, like their queue, which allows you to watch movies and television later. It also has a subscription option to automatically put new episodes in your queue. These features make it easy to watch, and I have to say, the streaming quality from Hulu Plus is awesome. However, I am not impressed with the reading. There are very few movies and not big box office hits. And some things I could watch on Hulu regularly, I’m not allowed to watch on my Roku. It’s not nice. Don’t be so money hungry, Hulu.
This brings me to a new invention, Lude sc. I’ve read a couple of reviews on this app, and they really tend to bash it. But I would like to give kudos to the sports team for their content. Hulu Plus breathes life, and at a cheaper price. So, with some low-quality streaming, and your app works on your PC. The technology is great, but the game holds true hope that the team is working to improve it because it is content to die for. If I watch Hulu through Play In, I’m technically streaming through my PC. So access to all original Hulu content, like The Simpsons. It also delivers live content from all the major networks, CBS, ABC, NBC, and FOX. In addition to other networks like, adult swim, Comedy Central, MTV, Spike, You Tube, and lots more.
So, to summarize, I am distracted. I enjoy being able to watch Hulu Plus while my son is playing games on the computer, which is not the case. a lot of good with Play On, as it stands now. But, I’m also glad to be able to get content from all these other networks. What to do? I think Roku, Play, and Hulu should all play one. Come up with something that works for everyone, and give the people what they want. If you give customers what they want, they will come. And I can tell you from the customer’s side, “We want good, flowing quality, with many viewing options, at a low price.” Don’t you agree, people?
