This guide to a special Mother’s Day card focuses on cards that can be printed and colored. I wanted to review the cards that children can create, customize and color for a special mom for Mom.
Card # 1 is stylized with flowing lines and volumes and also in “Happy Mother’s Day” in letters at the top bubbly The printable card is designed to be folded in half so you can write sentences inside. I think the main thing is that this paper is better for older elementary school children and above.
Card #2 is from the same site, freestuff4kids. This card has the same “Happy Mothers Day greeting across the top. The rose flower has broad and elegant lines and is quite decorative, but provides less intricate coloring spaces for younger children than older ones.
Card #3 is a card folded in four places by DLTK’s. When it’s closed, the empty pot has a flower and the word “MOM. When it’s open it says “Moms face babies bloom” and has two flower pots with a flower in each.The design is simple, but the concept of the paper is very unique.
Card #4 is from the kaboose. A basket of flowers with a banner that says “Mom” on it. And the mother stands out behind them. The flower, basket and mom designs are very intricate with lots of colorful smaller areas. This is more suitable for an older child.
Card #5, also from the caboose; a bear holding a big flower and saying “Happy mother’s Mother’s Days” in bubbly letters. This paper is cute and fluffy and suitable for children of any age.
Card #6 is also from the kaboose. This one is more complicated when there are many design elements. She has a queen’s breast with a banner, a bouquet of roses, a crown and dress, decorated with stars and a crown around her head. She looks like a spectacular mom.
Card #7 is also from the caboose. This is very similar to card #6. It also has a mummy with a flower and a flag. Her crown is shaped differently and says best mom. His clothes are flatter and his face more homey.
Card #8 is the last card from the kaboose. There is a momma tiger and her cub. It says “Mommy, you’re Grrreat!” Very cute; the cub licks momma’s head.
Card #9 is from the Disney Family Fun page in foldover style. It has smaller lines and designs, including hearts and flowers, and would be great to give to an older girl mom.
Card #10 is a pretty nice one we found at printfree. In the last picture we find these butterflies and flowers and “Happy Mother’s Day greeting.
