My skin is extremely sensitive, so much so that even the mildest cleansers and makeup products tend to cause severe breakouts. Even the bare mineral makeup is pretty mild that I haven’t seen a single spot from using these products. If anything, my skin actually looks a little healthier since I started using this.
I was a little surprised to discover that Skin Rev-er Superior contains chemicals and salicylic acid. I feel that its inclusion in the Getting Started kit is a bit risky – women buy this kit under the impression that the contents are all natural, but this product is not. However, this product seems gentle enough for sensitive or especially sensitive skin – I used it before any application of bare makeup, I used it twice and did not follow the makeup. The product did not cause any excessive dryness or redness, and I believe it is helping to clear my skin. a>.
coverage
Bare Minerals is the best for creating an even skin tone in tone. I have freckles, redness, a few pimples, and some scarring on my face, which covers everything nicely. I use a kabuki brush for maximum coverage, but those who don’t have as many blemishes can use an all over brush for lighter coverage.
Staying power
Minerals are thrown away, makeup is always on time. I found that the makeup wears well, but it rubs off easily. Bare mineral makeup will rub off on your clothes, but unlike liquid foundations, you won’t be left with a bare shell. on your face where you rubbed the makeup.
I have also found that bare minerals sometimes settle into wrinkles, causing a cake effect. This is not the case when applying makeup with medium-coverage bristles. If kabuki is used simply to apply makeup, it should be warned that bare mineral makeup is more likely to settle into fine lines and cuts. However, when excess product is pushed to the skin, this problem can be kept to a minimum, and can be easily corrected with a quick wipe of the tissue. Certainly, the bare mineral makeup tends to stay put and look better than the liquid foundations I’ve tried in the past.

Overall, I am very pleased with the Bare Minerals products. The price tag can be a bit intimidating at around $75, but this product is well worth it and has enough product in the kit to last for months.
