I use the Benefiber fiber supplement to make the recommended dose for myself every day. I’m very picky about making sure I have everything I need in terms of vitamins, exercise and such. I switched to this product from Metamucil. Metamucil does not taste very good and is very gritty. Benefiber is odorless, tasteless, non-greasy, taste-free, color-free.
Benefiber comes in two different sizes. The size I usually buy is the 5.4 oz bottle. It has a green and yellow label with a green cap. There are 38 servings in this size bottle.
You can easily mix Benefiber with many hot or cold drinks; you do everything you do in 2 teaspoons. Also mix with soft foods. It is needed 3 times a day. The company that makes Benefiber does not recommend mixing it with carbonated drinks.
I find this product easy to use. I usually mix it with coffee or my protein drink. Some days I also mix it with water. it does not change the taste or texture of the drink in any way. I also mix this with my yogurt, spaghetti-sauce and soups.
Those who suffer from occasional constipation or irregularity can immediately benefit from this fact. It is also useful if you do not suffer from these problems in fiber.
What I loved about this product is that you don’t see it there. It mixes easily and quickly. You cannot smell, taste, or see it when it is added to your drinks or food.
What I don’t like about this product is the price. For a 5.4 oz bottle, expect to pay around $9.00 for it. Trust me, it doesn’t last very long. It is more valuable when using it every day, especially if you share it with someone.
You can find this product in almost any pharmacy. Benefiber is also sold at Walmart, Sosores and Target. It can also be bought over the internet.
Although this product is a bit on the expensive side I feel it is well worth it. I take it very easily, and of course it’s not gritty or horrible tasting.
I highly recommend this product as opposed to others because of its ease of use. Something can be added. It is easier to take than catapotia and more pleasant to drink than Metamucilius.
Benefiber ingredients consist of only dextrin wheat. This product is also gluten free, it has less than 10ppm of gluten.
They are only advised to keep this product away from children, consult a doctor first. using when pregnant or breastfeeding, not exceeding more than 3 teaspoons per day, if the internal seal is not broken or missing.
