Component Design Northwest is a timer and thermometer company based in Portland Oregon that has won many awards for its cooking thermometer design. The company sells to both consumers and professionals together with the Combo Probe and Thermometer a handy and professional quality kitchen tool.
The CDN Combo Probe Thermometer is a handy kitchen tool that comes with a thermometer, removable temperature probe, AAA battery and instructions. The flip thermometer on the screen has two tilt angles so you can use the thermometer flat or with a nice screen with the thermometer lying on the counter.
The back of the thermometer has two magnetic fasteners, so you can attach the thermometer to the fridge or oven door, as well as a convenient place such as a hood over your stove. AAA battery installs in the thermometer and large buttons on the front control all the features for easy use.
The thermometer has a clock feature, a timer with both food temperature and oven temperature from the same removable probe. A probe is a handy way to thoroughly cook food while also finding the exact temperature in the oven or other appliance when you are cooking.
The function of the timer can be counted up and down and also the last count must be used to use the same times as the previous use for suitable hands. The clock can be used all the time, but a simple press of the mode button switches the thermometer between clock and timer.
The function of the thermometer has two settings on the display with one being the internal temperature from the tip of the probe and the set temperature you use with the alarm. You can set high or high in alarms that go off or when the food is cooked to temperature. or cool to the temperature you have set.
The thermometer can be used to cook a cup, meat and other foods, you need to know the exact temperature with and clip that slides on the probe, the probe to the side a small clock wherever you want in the kitchen or even use it elsewhere. The CDN Combo Probe Thermometer, Timer and Clock is a great all around cooking tool that I have found to be not only convenient but reliable.
One last hand tip that I find very useful in the kitchen is a small temperature chart on the back of the tray for quick reference Cooking food. I highly recommend the CDN Combo Probe Thermometer Timer and Clock as a great and inexpensive kitchen tool that costs around $24 and is available on online sites like QVC.
