Product Review: Creole Seasoning by Zatarain’s

Every state and country has its own way of seasoning food, using combinations of herbs, spices and many other seasonings. Louisiana’s Famous Creole Conditure is from Zatarain. Although this sauce is marketed to people as the perfect jambalaya sauce, this Creole sauce is great for meat, chicken, fish, vegetables, stews, vegetables and much more.

Creole Seasoning by Zatarain has been in business since 1889, helping to bring the taste of New Orleans to the kitchens of people wherever they live.

This product contains salt, dextrose, garlic, chili powder, pepper cayenne, paprika, black pepper, onions, spices and other things. This gives the food a real “kick” as you add to the dish. Zatarain states that this is “delicious with salt and pepper”. On closer inspection, we can see that salt is the first ingredient, which means that it is the most abundant. The pepper is also feathery in this Creole Seasoning.

Creole Seasoning is seasoned and fragrant by Zatarain. Moderately sweet. When cooking with this seasoning, it is important to be careful how much seasoning you use. It also depends on personal preference. For the hotter, the spicier the flour, add more. But check it out if your palate is not too used to spicy food.
