Eureka SuctionSeal Upright Vacuum has a unique feature to help go from bare floors to carpets without having to adjust settings and still pick up dirt and dust . The SuctionSeal vacuum that I received is also a pet specific vacuum that helps clean carpets, bare floors and upholstery without pet hair.

The Eureka SuctionSeal PET is model AS1104A and comes with a vacuum hose attachment, a dusting brush, a crevice tool, a magic extension, and a turbo nozzle. The instructions are easy enough that there are no tools needed to set up the vacuum for first use, all you need to do are the handles and a few parts that all snap into place.

The vacuum features the string, but this type of storage for the power cord does not work perfectly all the time, sometimes when the reel pulls the cord twisted or connected to it. The tension is clearly visible in the window of the cord and you can see when the bottom of the reel is bent or several strings wind up.

To combat this problem you simply have to feed the cord in while it nods so that the nerve is distributed a bit more evenly in the turbans. The rope will drive using an internal spring and a push button on the empty side to roll the rope and it works well most of the time, but again not always.

The bagless vacuum cleaner works well with several parts of the vacuum that include the collection of dirt and the box. easy to empty and replace. The pieces all fit together and it works well even when they are really full like when I emptied the old mini-van and its layers of dirt.

I used a larger minivan to haul junk, buy firewood and mostly to dirt our garden as the back of the vans interior is a lot of dirt not a little dirt but with weight. I’m not talking about a little bit of dirt poured out of a pot or a bucket, I first used bitumen for dirt in the back, and I built dirt from my cities.

I emptied two baskets full of dirt and dust, leaves, twigs and even a few nuts and bolts from the vacuum, and I vacuumed yet more to get as much dirt out as I could. I sold the vehicle as I wanted it to at least look decent and got the major dirt and dust out of the carpet using Eureka SuctionSeal.

The SuctionSeal feature is nice and adds a little extra suction on top of the vacuum head thanks to the two bars that drop using spring pressure. There are bars before and after a rectangular area that has a bar in the middle, and the rest of the bottom is empty.

These bolts hang about 1/8 inch off the floor and when the vacuum is in bare areas, it creates more suction because there is less space for air to enter the vacuum. When transitioning to carpet spring loaded bars are pushed into the head of the vacuum and will rest on the garment, as the vacuum will help create more of a seal against the carpet.

This generally works well and you don’t have dirt or debris flying around when vacuuming bare floors like I’ve had with some straight vacuums. SuctionSeal can go from bare floors to lower carpets without changing any settings which is nice for cleaning.

Bagless vacuums are a popular way to get rid of the most common expenses and bag dirt but it also comes with its own problems. The suction problem can be this type of vacuum, but also the dust and debris that the filter bag can be an internal problem of the vacuum, especially the engine.

I found the vacuum taken apart and a bit of dust inside the motor area but after abusing the vacuum through piles of dry dirt I can’t complain. I previously had a Hoover vacuum after two years in mine, but they discontinued the model line probably due to problems with getting dust into the motor.

After lifting the cover and looking around, I saw the motor is well protected, but it is getting a little dust inside that will accumulate over time. Annual cleaning by a vacuum cleaning maintenance shop will reduce this buildup and allow the vacuum to live much longer as it helps to maintain your investment.

A service on the vacuum with removing the plastic pieces and retrieving the motor area will cost about $40 to $60, so you can do it to keep your vacuum running longer. I found a local store in my area that said they would do maintenance cleaning on a vacuum starting at $40 for simply taking the vacuum apart and cleaning it.

There are two filters inside the vacuum with washable foam one inside the canister and the other to the drain port behind the canister. and a plastic holder. HEPA filter is the only part of the vacuum that you will need to change regularly but they only cost about $10 or so and can be found at Wal-Mart and other local stores.

When looking at the manual I found that the type on the side of the filter number is written EF16 while the filter itself has the number EF6 on it. The foam filter inside the basket is easy to wash just like the other plastic parts, but you can also buy a new one for about $13.

While I was researching the Eureka vacuum, I checked customer reviews on Amazon and was impressed when Eureka responded to customer complaints about this model. It’s nice to see Eureka looking for customer complaints and addressing these issues at least when asking for referral help on their website or calling customer service.

It helps to know that Eureka, actually the parent company of Electrolux, looks for problems with their products and tries to solve them. I don’t know what the company has given answers to each of these questions, but at least they are communicating with customers.

I’ve had the Eureka SuctionSeal for over a month and it’s been a good time vacuuming both my daily pet hair and dust bunnies in my resident nooks and crannies. You need to vacuum both from the covered to the bare floor or back again without changing the settings just until you have the arrival of the brush.

The upholstery tool, Pet Power Paw, does an excellent job of cleaning and removing upholstery hair and comes with its own vacuum roller to help they run to keep the furniture and stairs clean. The vacuum is all around good work and costs around $200 available at Target and Macy’s stores as well as online directly from Eureka and Amazon .

I can recommend the Eureka SuctionSeal AS1104A as a very good vacuum, but of course time will tell how well it holds the vacuum. above the warranty period and beyond. I will be sure to update this review later if there is anything relevant to the machine during my weekly use.
