Product Review: Feline Pine Cat Litter

I have a multi-cat family, as many do. It seems to me that most people either have one cat, or 4,5, or 6 cats. I don’t know why, but I think cats are addictive! However, with many cats, it is so important to find a good cat litter that works for both you and your cats. Litter can have such an impact on your family. The right litter means no “outside the litter box” and it also absorbs cat odors. so that it does not enter your house. The right litter is the key to having a healthy, clean cat and people home. Having tested many different litter brands, I have found Cat Pine to be the best for many reasons.

In the past, I have always used cat litter. It is so easy to throw down a litter of caves. Easy to remove. The smell will build up sometimes, but I just attributed that to having a multi-cat home, even though I was vacuuming the litter box 2 or 3 times a day. The worst part of the litter for me was the clumps of dust. It got dusty mud all over it and looked horrible. I also hated to think that my cats and I were attracting them, so I started looking for a dust-free litter. After asking several friends, Feline Pine seemed to be the most recommended. I decided to give it a try, and I liked this product so much!

I bought a small bag at Wal-Mart in the form of a ball. This is less than $4. This is the first positive thing I have noticed, as the prices of litter boxes are completely out of hand. I took it home, and it poured into the litter box. As the day went by, the cats were using the pan and I noticed a lack of smell. Indeed, everything really smells of pine, since that is what it is made of. The litter comes in these balls about half an inch long. When moisture hits them, they expand and appear inflated. This way I can tell what was used, and that part only. It doesn’t have the same clumping properties as a little clay, but after you get used to it, it’s easy to know what the hook is for. And again, there is virtually no cat smell.

Another plus is that my cats took to this litter immediately. If you’re a smartphone owner, you know this means a lot. If the cat fetal is not content in the litter, or something is lost in the litter box, it is usual to watch. by choosing to do their business outside the box, or in a completely different place. This is what you want to avoid, as cats cats like litter from the beginning, having more .

Feline Pine is also easily accessible. Lots of times, when you find a good pet product, you also find that you can only order it online, or have it yourself. go to a special pet store or a veterinarian to get the product. Not so with Feline Pine. It is available at many stores, such as Wal-Mart, Target, Harris Teeter, IGA, Safeway, A&P, and many other stores. I like that this makes it easy for me to pick some up when I’m out with my other strays and I don’t have to make a special trip to Petco to get it.

I think my favorite thing about Feline Pine is that it is all natural and chemical free. That’s from the Southern Yellow Pine. That is, safe for me and my cats. I think this is much better than attracting dust. The natural properties of pine allow it to absorb ammonia and cat odors and neutralize them without chemicals. The pellet form is almost free of dust, which now means I don’t see dust all over the place and I know it’s in our lungs. The material is also biodegradable and can be put in the compost pile, which means less puppy waste in landfills. There is absolutely nothing that I don’t like about Feline Pine. I am so lucky for myself and my cats that there is such a product on the market today. I would recommend this product to any cat owner, especially with multi-cat families.
