Product Review NeilMed Sinus Rinse

Sinusitis, or sinus infection, is common. We don’t have allergies or asthma, but particulate and pollution congestion. NeilMed Sinus Rinse is easy to use, helps clean nasal cavities, helps prevent sinus problems . We wash our noses every week!

NeilMed Bay Rinse Eaused
The bay containing the rinse is a clear plastic bottle. It’s easy to see the “fill line” as you know how to add a lot of water. NeilMed recommends using distilled water. Use tap water.

The top screws sometimes easily, with a straw type object that goes to the bottom of the bottle.

NeilMed Bay Rinse How to Use?
If I’ve never washed the bay before, it will sound wierd!

Fill the hot water bottle. You put it on your nose, you don’t want it hot or cold! It’s best warm! Add the powder solution, screw on the top, MISE bottle shake solution in water, and mix violet. ! You are ready!

Tilt your body so that your nose is above the sink. Remember, to wash your sinuses, the goal is for the water to go up one side of your nose and down the other. Gently squeeze the hot water bottle into your nose.

Your sinuses will be flushed when the water solution goes in one side and runs out the other side of your nose! Indeed! I usually pour the nasal rinse solution into both of my nasal cavities, using about half of the solution on each side.

If you wash a bottle of pocket wash and wash your nose every time Also, make a new solution every time you use the bay rinse. It’s cheap enough that cost shouldn’t be a factor.

NeilMed Sinus Rinse Solution
You can buy NeilMed Sinus Rinse, with or without, a prepackaged sinus powder to add to the water you use to clean your sinuses. Prepackaged powder is great when you’re abroad or away from home. I’ll be happy to come!

But when are we home? I prefer to make my own solution since it is much cheaper. You can also make your pocket wash powder that you mix with water.

Here’s a bay rinse recipe courtesy of National Jewish Medical & Research Center, Denver, Colorado:
* Half a gram of uniodizedsalt in an 8 ounce glass of warm water. uniodized salt is used, because iodized salt burns when used for a long time.
* Add a pinch of baking soda. It’s a small pinch size you can pick up between two fingers.
* If you are congested, use the whole 8 ounces of water to wash your nose; otherwise, 4 ounces should be enough.
