The HDMI Splitter 1×2 is a simple solution to double your high definition, which supports HDMI v1.3b and up to 1440p video along with LPCM, Dolby DTS-HD master audio and even 1080p 3D content. The Sewell HDMI Splitter comes with the splitter itself, a power adapter and a small instruction guide for using the HDMI splitter, but the size of the splitter amazes me at just 2.5 by 2.75 inches and 3/4 inches long.
The Sewell HDMI Splitter splits the HDMI input signal and outputs both video and audio to two output connections so you can see the signal on two displays from one input source. The splitter uses version 1.3 of the HDMI specification which supports a higher clock rate, but instead supports Sewell 3D which is not the usual version 1.3.
The slot is small in size at only 2.5 by 2.75 inches and about 3/4 inch high with an HDMI connection and a power connection on one side, and two HDMI output connections on the other side. The Sewell HDMI Splitter comes in several other connection options in four, eight and sixteen HDMI output connections for plenty of connection options.
The Sewell HDMI Splitter works simply by using the included power adapter and wiring the HDMI source to the Input connection, and any two monitors or televisions to the output side for exact duplication of the input. I used the Sewell HDMI Splitter on my computer, Blu-ray and DVD players watched movies and games without problems.
I did not notice any lag or delays while gaming and movies or television using the HDMI Splitter and had no problems with the audio and video separately, I used the split link to use only to see while playing the game on the computer and watching movies. The video and audio splitter handles quite easily and works without incidents and without problems and it supports HDCP computer and high definition content protection.
Using my computer I can easily not have the problem of playing and detecting monitors and getting confirmation that the monitor is HDCP ready and handles signals without offspring. The Sewell HDMI Splitter is a simple solution, but it is not a lightweight or cheaply built product because the body is constructed of solid steel both top and bottom for maximum protection of the single circuit board inside.
I opened the box and opened the top half on the two sides that made the top, the bottom half that has the mounts for the top along with the circuit boardReport:
