Snuggie – a blanket with sleeves. wow As I write this review, words escape me, but I will try to give my honest opinion about the Snuggie. Like I said, I saw the Snuggie commercial and thought it was something of a scam. But after reading this I realized that it was done, I wanted to pay a little more attention. I’m obsessed with this Snuggie – a blanket with sleeves. It looked so warm and cozy – and what about the cozy spectators at the alluding event all snuggled up like bugs in their Snuggies.
As I watched the commercial, I thought of all the people I could give a Snuggie as a gift. I certainly would like one for myself and my daughter, but who else? I don’t know what my husband would do if he presented him with his Snuggie – so no Snuggie for him. I would give one to my mother and sister. Did you know that even dogs now have Snuggies? I wonder if they have an extra large size that would fit a 160 pound St. Bernard and a 130 pound Terra Nova. If they did, I’m over it.
I ended up ordering just one Snuggie at first and then if I was satisfied, I would order more. It turns out that when you buy one, you get one free. Well – there’s my daughter’s Snuggie. Here is the best part. With every Snuggie you buy, you receive a super slim, totally portable book light. Now I can use my Snuggie in the dark and see what I’m reading! So I get two snuggies and 2 portable books. Sweet I couldn’t wait for the Snuggies to arrive. How can anyone resist this: “Blankets are ok but they can slip and slide, plus your hands get caught inside. A Snuggie blanket keeps you all warm and gives you the freedom to use hands”. In addition, the Snuggie becomes soft. I love thick fur.
Snuggies have arrived – a burgundy one and a royal blue one. The book also comes with portable lights. The promises were very thin. Anyway, my daughter and I love our Snuggies. The only thing is that the device seems a little thin. I was expecting a luxurious thick fleece, but it seemed lacking in texture. However, it covered my whole body quite well, and the sleeves also covered my arms. It was really like a dress that when I wear it, I can stand up without it falling off. When I’m standing wearing a Snuggie, it falls off. My daughter loves her Snuggie. She was happy to have one when she was invited to a friend’s dorm. Guess what the theme is? Snuggie.
