When it comes to the quest for perfectly smooth, beautiful feet, I’ve tried just about every type of product on the market – exfoliating creams, pumice stones, lice removers, and even the scary razors that move with the wrong way to scrape off chunks of skin. So, when I saw the PedEgg poster on television, I was skeptical (especially since the products seen on TV often underperform or are complete scams), but I decided to check it out.
I went online and read reviews on several sites. The reviews were mixed, but there were more positive reviews than negative, and I decided it was worth a shot of about 10 bucks.
The PedEgg is an ergonomically shaped stainless steel toe with 138 micron precision. Basically, it looks like a specially designed vegetable grater and works the same way, only this particular file is safe to the touch and gently removes calluses and dry skin is removed by “shaving” the skin a little at a time. The PedEgg also comes with two emery pads to lift the back of the tray and is easy to empty and clean.
The first time I used the PedEgg, I sat on the couch watch a movie while doing just what he instructed me to do – pressure applying in a gentle back and forth motion. Because the PedEgg removes such a small amount with each step, I spent a larger movie, but because I was dry, so I think it’s a fair trade away.
I probably could have worked out a bit that night and more on it the next day than all in one sitting. What I did was to avoid even a slight inconvenience, because I was walking on the steps for the next two days (I believe this from going down to fresh and new skin). But, the disgusting amount of tears I shed after that session, more lightness than I haven’t felt in years – even after a professional pedicure – is well worth it. After this initial session we now use the PedEgg about once a week for 5-10 minutes.
One downfall is that the pods will come out through the panel if you turn the PedEgg upside down. I end up trying to keep the face of the board and empty it often. And at least this is a minor flaw that is easy to work around.
Overall, PedEgg is a great product that I now swear by and recommend to all my friends. It is easy to use and a great way to save money on your feet and have the perfect shoe for your feet. prepared for the whole year. To maintain new, smooth feet and improve the texture even further, we recommend applying the following moisturizing cream and socks – or, for a more intensive moisturizing treatment, apply the cream, feet on plastic wear clothes and socks.
