Pros and Cons of Solar Power

America is running on oil. We consume nearly 20,000 barrels of oil a day. We got enough oil to meet our demands and in 1970 we had to start importing. While we are stuck with oil reserves other countries are going green with solar power. Non-renewable oil pollutes our environment. The cost is going up and we need to be more rational and green. Cars behaviors we need to use less fuel and renewable world energy source to sustain us . Germany led the solar power revolution right next to Spain. Germany is tied for 4,000 MW of solar PV energy capacity with Spain primarily right behind them. America uses eight times less solar power than Germany. Food waste is the main source of pollution in our environment. It destroys and warms the air, leading to rising temperatures and the death of many species of animals. Increasing environmental concern and demand for cleaner energy demand. In my home country, I saw first hand the effects of energy consumption. Pakistan’s energy sector is suffering from a 60% shortage. The energy sector can’t provide enough energy for some cities and towns to be blacked out for up to 12 hours. When I return home I often give thanks for the sufficient energy we have in the United, and consider the methods to be used able to fill the energy shortage in Pakistan. Although I cannot fix the energy shortage, I still believe in the benefits of solar power and encourage people to use it.

Solar Power Pros

Solar power is clean and renewable and saves money. Solar energy originates from the sun so it never goes out or emits harsh chemicals into the atmosphere. It is almost maintenance free and only needs to be replaced every 50 years. Although it can be expensive to produce solar panels and solar cells, solar energy pays for itself within a few years. It saves a lot of energy. Solar power is definitely conservative and will save you tons of money on gasoline. They can be installed on roofers that take problem solving space. Solar panels allow the world to become independent from those dependent on non-renewable fuels.

Solar power cons

Solar cells and panels can be expensive, and they don’t produce power at night because they need sunlight. For nighttime electricity you will need to have a battery to solar or have an alternative power source. Solar panels also take up a lot of space and cannot work well in polluted areas, which can affect business. Weather can also play a role in solar power panels.

Why we need to go green

Gas runs out and basically everything depends on it. Taxation wastes money on energy that cannot be renewed. We need to go green and find better ways to make renewable energy. Solar power can be a great help and a great service for cons. Many countries are leading the way to a greener path, we are following behind them.
