Quick and Easy Meatloaf Recipe

This is a basic recipe and an easy dinner idea that hardly takes any time to prepare. In fact, it’s a great option if you want to quickly throw something together for dinner without fuss and fuss. All you really need to make this pulse and a few ingredients you’ll already have in your kitchen… it’s that simple. I like my meatloaf moist but it doesn’t get wet and it’s not easy to spice up this recipe, so you can also follow the recipe to suit your preferences.

Receive:
2.5 pounds ground beef (the bigger the better)
a cup of ketchup
1 cup oatmeal, bread crumbs, or crushed crackers (preferably oatmeal, if I have it)
1 to 2 eggs
1 package of onion soup mix (optional)
Wigorn 1 tablespoon sauce (optional)
Salt / pepper to taste
Click on red pepper seasoning (optional)

*Preheat the oven to 325 degrees to prepare your meatloaf*.

Preparation:
Place your ground beef in a large bowl and prepare to mix by hand. Start by adding ground 1 to 2 beef eggs. TIP: Egg is the key ingredient in this recipe as it is what keeps the meatloaf from turning into a giant ball. I usually add 2 eggs because like moist meat and oats (or breadcrumbs) work well with the egg to achieve this. After you add the egg), then go ahead and add the rest of the ingredients mentioned in the recipe above. and mix everything together thoroughly. Form the mixture into a cake shape in the pan and top with a light ketchup. Now it’s ready to go in the oven!

Bake:
Once the temperature reaches 325 degrees, stick the meatloaf in the oven and bake for about an hour. When done, cut into the thickest part of the meatloaf. You can also use a meat thermometer by sticking it in the thickest part of the bread, which then read about 160. steps if meatloaf is made. If the meatloaf needs a little more time, then stick it in the oven and check it every 10 minutes. Once it’s done, remove the meatloaf, drain any grease from the bottom, and refrigerate for 10 to 15 minutes before serving. Now for another matter.

Try something different
There are many different variations of this recipe that you can try and add to the list of easy dinner ideas. For example, you can try substituting Rotel diced tomatoes for ketchup in meatloaf. You can also add mozzarella cheese to the center of the torta: separate the meat mixture into two halves, place the mozzarella slices on top of half of the bread, cover with the other half (kids love this version). Another option is to drizzle some homemade sauce or sauce over meats and veggies for picky eaters…they often love almost anything if covered in sauce. Be creative, experiment and enjoy!
